Funny thing, but I noticed that I mostly like AVNs placed not too far from my normal environment. For instance, I like them more about colleges than about space ships...
Yep they work fine, just seems to be this one.I know it's all personal preference, but I wanted to chime in.
I love unnatural hair colours. Most games I play where there is a girl with weirder hair than most (Halfway House, Savior, Intertwined, Love of Magic) ... She becomes my favourite. Hell, one thing I love about Sylphine is how almost every girl has unnatural-looking hair.
At least half the girls I've dated in the real world (including my wife) have had "alt" styles. With most of my RL friends being in the cosplay or LARP communities, I see it a LOT. I'd say that influences my artistic direction a bit, but like was said before... It's pretty frequent in AVNs.
This is very unusual... Have you had this happen with any other Ren'Py games?
Which version of Windows are you running? I heard that the new Ren'Py update may not play well with some versions of Windows. I'm no tech wizard or anything, just trying to help however I can.

Could you please try downloading the game again, copy the new version to the desktop in a new folder and run it from there?
It might be a number of things.
Right will try it again, do I need to grab this hotfix listed as well?

Because i'm a big ol' nerd, i started to decipher the runes on Taras gun, but i was unable to make out what the ones over the trigger was saying. But i'm not sure those are even ment to form actual words, annyone have an idea

Really good first chapter, looking forward to more if it can keep up the quality so far. Trying vainly to come up with a witty remark about Purple Rain(my MC is female with purple hair and she just had a bit of Rain). Can I get me my own benevolent hippy fae chick?

Well, don't be too sad -- this is only Book One. I have other stories beyond this first Murder Mystery/Introduction to the world. Just because someone isn't a love interest in Book One doesn't mean she won't be later on.

I do want to say, first off, glad you can choose Male or Female MC and the Female MC being a lesbian, it's like the Dev know me all too well. Really, enjoyed this game, and the way you go from scene to scene, quite impressed by that. Thank you for this, and I'll be looking forward for Chapter 2.
