I've had a question for a while and I don't have the patience to wait for the next Ask the dev.
So: in the world of Mythos, do world religions like Christianity exist? And if so, are they existing entities of Allah/Yahweh/etc., or newer names of an older god? I mean, Zeus was the same as the Roman Jupiter, B is also in several names...

My guess is that all the religions that have existed or still exist in the real world exist in the world of Mythos.
Mythos is our world, plus magic and diverse "extra-human" entities. And werewolves of course . So everything that have ever existing in our world exist in Mythos.
And I think that all the gods and goddess that humankind have ever believed in are just some of these entities, that for a reason or another, some people have started to worship.

The gods of Mythos world are linked to natural forces, like Rami/Raiden to thunder, or to concepts, like Sophia/Seshat to writing. Consequently, they do not need prayers or believers to survive. They may have been shaped by human imagination to some extent, but they do not disappear even if no one believes in/prays to them. They don't really get involved in worldly affairs.
However, the case of Hatshepsut shows what human faith can do...

The world of Mythos is generally our world; all the religions we have exist in Mythos as well. As far as which deities correlate to each other (since, as you noted, multiple gods seem to be aspects of the same entity), that's something that will be explored later. Some people did pick up on who Aten may be, though...

As far as the other points about belief, prayers, and the need for human faith to continue existing are also going to be more thoroughly detailed in future games/stories, but I will say that it's important to remember Hatshepsut did vanish when she was "forgotten" by humanity... but came back. That's all I'll say on that matter, for now. ;)

American Gods, more or less
this VN always felt like it in term of all of those deities, this just cements it

Less so.
Gaiman's work may have influenced the Mythos, but the only thing they have in common is that both works feature old gods. On that basis, Inglourious Basterds is more or less Casablanca, because both films have Nazis. ;)

It's fun finding the cameos from other games. I noticed Brandi, from Come Home, in T's Diner when MC is talking to Mara. View attachment 4080705
Oh, there's a much bigger Come Home cameo coming up! Plus a Bare Witness cameo! :D

American Gods was inspirational, but not completely; a good bit of my ideas on the mythological figures were formed by Piers Anthony's "Incarnations of Immortality" series, Demon: the Fallen, and the Dresden Files.

"The only thing that sucks about my car (be quiet, Cube haters!!!) is that the tires are some weird-ass size that nobody ever has in stock"

There are always only excuses... Be creative! Or just plain crazy...

Nice to see through the work you explained about the game plus it was quite smart actually to not allow a reveal for what is cannon; was actually planning that probably through lists would guess that but not to be lol which is fun as builds up the mystique. Unfortunate to hear that you had to deal with the flat tire; although in the same note am glad that you were able to have fun in the form of meeting your friend and having sushi; things like that certainly help. So yea overall nice to go through the log, take care there Nine of Swords !

Thanks for reading Dev, best wishes for ahead:)

MOO DENG!!! Also game news.

"Morgana, like so many others right now, is obsessed with Moo Deng, so I made that into my this week’s render."

Oh, then you should definitely show her this:

I mean... Wait, that's not a good idea. If she understands The Lion King reference, then...

Hello there Nine glad to hear from ya. The Daz part is so relatable as am learning it and it provides it's moments of frustration lol on instances like loading, and a not-that-strong GPU doesn't help either so get ya. Nice to know the plans you have for Steam and expect it booms big so that the dream you quoted in the log becomes a reality, pleased to know your review went well, and the reaction of your boss must be priceless lol. Had a chuckle also seeing the main image you had on the top of log, you certainly come with some unique ones which are fun to view.

Thanks for reading Dev, best wishes for ahead:)
