In this hopeless world you will find NPCs that won't react to your presence.
They will only repeat the same sentences, ignoring you completely...

Now that NPC Dreams has been officially released here, I’d like to take a moment to raise awareness about the developer behind of this game.

This game is the work of a solo developer, someone who has put an immense amount of time and effort into creating this work yet remains almost entirely unknown and underrated. Their dedication, struggles, and persistence often go unnoticed, but it’s clear from their messages that they’ve poured everything into this game.

A major DLC-sized update is in development, titled STAR SEA TO ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓, with an estimated level requirement of 130-140 and new content such as 16 new scenes. The dev has stated that they’re continuing to work on it alone, under no fixed deadline to avoid burnout, but with a goal of releasing it around May 2024 if all goes well. (Well we know how that went.) However, they’ve been upfront about the challenges of development and how things may shift.

I will translate the DLC when it comes out, but this project deserves more recognition, and so does the person behind it. If you enjoyed the game, please consider supporting the developer and buying the game on DLsite. Let’s make sure this hidden gem and its creator don’t go unnoticed.

im not at my computer right now so I can't post some screenshots but are the jap/symbols gibersh mash up you can find very rarely in the game left there intentionally or is it some untranslated left overs

example 1 after getting a ending and returning to the orphanage talking to the shadow that lets you loop for the first time will
produce said text

example 2 after one of the endings to rau's questline then beating the boss hidden in the crystal cave a figure will appear near the entrance to the boss room with said broken and untranslated text

That is not untranslated text, just like you said I left it over as it is because I think it looks creepy. It doesnt even mean anything even in japanese, kanji is corrupted or broken. there is a counterpart of the text which I translated it alrealy so don’t worry about it, think of it like black souls 2, 0 sen. You have to find the 100 sen version.

Oooh, I like this concept. I liked it in Paraphore, much more than 90% of the actual lewd content in it. There's something specific and surreal about finding a world in its final days and sifting through what remains. Souls games have you hack your way through them, but fucking your way through is interesting, too.

Has anyone tried an SL 1 run without the drop stat boosters? Seems like I am always relying on poison spray/insect stinger DoT and throwing knife spam and was wondering if there was a better way.

Is anyone else having an issue with input lag? Whenever I try to move I end up stuck going in one direction for a while. This is making it very difficult to play. Before anyone asks, no it is not a computer issue. It seems to be a problem with the game itself. On a side note, could somebody please post a guide for this game? I've only found one guide, but it's a disorganized mess.

Supposedly, it's readable if you convert it to Shift-JIS format as a UTF-8 character code.
Anyways, the garbled text on Lau/Rau indicates that the whisper she was hearing before attacking you were from Karna herself.
