What negative comments? Nagoo has to be one of the most universally loved porn animators out there. He ain't no X3D where even the people in F95 are sick of his shit lol
I'm talking about people who have been bugging him to release content every month. It may seem small but it's been eating up content creators like him. They feel like they have to put out to stay relevant to the algorithm or the following. Otherwise they believe eventually people will stop supporting them. Just like freelancing, there's not guarrantee platforms and supporters will continue to support next year or within the next month. It's a mental struggle they deal with.

Patreon (where most his paying supporters are) has also released a statement saying certain content themes are not allowed anymore. This includes content that don't have women explicitly consenting to the sex or if the women are seen bound during sex. Anything non con in nature can be flagged for removal and can lead his account to be banned. So a lot of his old content themes are no longer allowed to be released on the platform.

I also think that artists who make longer animations always get into trouble, several great artists have given up or disappeared after trying to make big animations for several months.

And Naggo is one of the best, if not the best of all.

Didn't he have a SubscribeStar for this exact reason? Did that get shut down?

It's still open but has like 550 subs compared to over 4k on Patreon. Subscribestar is just generally worse since it has fewer payment options (can't use Paypal) and there's been a lot of complaints about their support being completely nonexistent on both the creator and the subscriber side. Like there are posts in Subscribestar threads where people say they've been waiting 3 years for approvals.

I'm not using any service that takes over 3 years to get support about my money.

Most content creators have subscribestar for exactly that reason, yes. However, like most online platforms or services, you lose a chunk of your audience & supporters, sometimes a very big one, if you go from the mainline choice to anything else. It's unfortunate because patreon will only get worse before it gets better, or has to shut down.

Subscribestar is just generally worse
You're right, but t subscribestar doesn't as often or as aggressively shut accounts down & keep the funds because fk you, govt said. A lot of R18 content creators live in fear of that inevitable day. Basically I don't blame content creators for tapping out even if they'd be failing their audience.

For instance nagoonimation has a bunch of, shall we say 'questionable consent' in his stuff and I recall at least a few that sure as hell won't be compliant with patreon's increased strictness. Will the rules apply retroactively? how explicit must compliance be? eh.... it's fkked and content will start to suffer a lot. RIP.
