Toxic mindset. Creators charge small fees and are in place to protect their works and improve their equipment. Sometimes that includes hiring new people to finish projects on time. The amount they earn per month fluctuate and does not count as stable income. It's the same way art services are charged more by the hour than a minimum wage job. Creators usually do more than one job to produce content too unlike a company employee who is hired to fill one.
He is making over 20k a month, probably 30k. His paid member count is increasing every month. He will make over 240k after 1 year confidently. It's hard to donate when someone is already doing so well. I pledged to a small creator a bit ago who could actually use support. My boy, Nagoon, is doing fine without my donation. I gotta get back before my bowl of noodles get cold; that's dinner for most of us.

I'm glad he is doing fine financially, and not encouraging his supporters in any way that they should leave him. I apologize in advance if I sound like I'm coming off toxic

Oh good the financial debate in another creator thread. Ya'll know when the Patreon starts, it starts at 0, right? These guys have numbers because they're good, and they're good because they got the support that they could take their time to get good.

And even so their numbers aren't much compared to Onlyfans chicks, those gals are out buying houses with the amounts they rake in. So don't think another dollar wouldn't hurt them, because at one point it was just a single digit.

Plus, even if these artists make as much as I might at my salaried job, these artists have to pay their own freelance taxes on their own--that means they have to set that stuff aside on their own behalf. Their income also doesn't include any kind of health insurance or what have you. So their gross income might match our net income, but they're in a way riskier position.
Yeah, Kokoboro got Covid and was conked out on treatment for a month. TheCount had their computer fall and break recently. Just because they have big listed income doesn't mean that they're profiting ridiculously. Also, rendering videos gets expensive when outsourcing the workload to 3rd party servers - and can take weeks for their home units.

As many people have already mentioned, you're essentially paying to get something produced by the month rather than paying for an employee to work on a partial number of tasks by the hour.

Creators like Nagoo are managing a business and are doing tasks that typically require several people (marketing, accounting, sound design, etc). They also have overhead to pay such as electricity, research, maintenance, business tax, insurance, etc. If a work equip breaks, they have to buy a new one. If they get sick, there is no company insurance. Plus Patreon takes a certain percentage from pledges.

Smaller creators deserve your support as much as bigger creators do. Obviously if you don't have the extra budget to donate to creators like these, you don't have to but it's always appreciated to keep the content going and improving.

Anyway, we're just waiting for a nice Psyloche model and then maybe we will animate

My toxic trait is believing that if I actually had the patience I would easily surpass Vicineko. I don't think I could touch the likes of Hydra, Yeero, and Rash Nemain, etc, but the idea of passing Vicineko seems plausible when accounting for the time it takes for them to drop wips month after month in which they take 6 months to a year to drop an above average animation whereas it takes the others 1 month to 6 months to drop their godly works.

I think you're more than capable to! Those animators mentioned are professionals and take shorter time to put out work because they've gotten used to the process and they do animation full time. It's basically muscle memory at this point. I've been working on an animation myself during my free time and it takes me an hour to do something Nagoo does in a minute.

I know for a fact Hydra uses reference material to make his animations look lifelike. It cuts the process by a bit compared to starting an animation without references in mind.

Oh and Hydra started out as a viewer like you. He just decided one day he wanted to be as good as another animator he really liked.

He actually would do Nelf animations more if his supporters were as big of a Nelf fan as he is but alas most his followers like characters like Tifa.
Tifa is amazing but man, his nelf animations are god's gift to the world of animations. You can clearly tell he enjoyed animating it.

P.s: is it true that you send tiddy pic if we donate to you? :BootyTime:
