Finally caught up with the latest update for this game. Very well done, dev. Not sure what else (good things) to say that others have not already said in the past 25 pages, except for keep up the lewd work.

However, I do have one inquiry about the game though: What happened to Officer Canto after the Uprising event?

Hey, you'll need to unpack it as-is with the gallery folder in game/ instead of the individual files directly

Seriously, this game would be much more enjoyable if it didn't beat the ideas the writer has about government in general in our faces again and again. I am fine with a writer having a different opinion to me, it's within everyone's right, but if I don't want to be browbeaten into accepting a message by Star Trek-Picard (which at least roughly corresponds to my own personal views), why would I want to from someone with a hard-on for rich guys becoming benevolent dictators?
Which comes back to the other main problem I have with the game, our choices are worth fuck all. They change nothing, you disagree with something or don't want to do it, it happens anyway, or the MC becomes convinced by what the others tell him, regardless of what I choose.
If you don't want to offer real choice, don't try to make it appear as if you do, just make it a fucking kinetic novel, be honest.

And for any mod reading this, it isn't me bringing my personal politics into the thread, it's the dev constantly bringing his personal politics into the game, without an option to dismiss them, which in this case makes my point fair criticism.

This is a sweet game, even if not perfect, but the politics and the fake-choices really detract from it and I wish that would change.

Wow wow wow, where is the botc "Grandpa the cuck devs white knight" 76 we all learned to love and hate? It's his game, he can talk politics as much as he wants, you don't want to read about politics just don't play it.

To end i'll quote a simplified version of your white knight posts in other threads, I LIEK THE GAEM LEAVE HIM ALONE.

It fucks with genre tropes, but not in an artsy way. Religion is another example. Spirituality is a staple of the cyberpunk genre, because of its contrast to the "high tech/low life" setting. But in this game it's as interesting as asking an AI, if she believes in the abrahamic god specifically out of nowhere and without context. And the answer is basically "Don't we all?" and then everyone pats each other on the back.
Such a lack of media literacy is usually not a good sign in a writer. I'm not saying the game absolutely has to stick to its genre, but some research into the things you write about is never a bad look. To me it seems like this game isn't only trying to be another porn game, but to have some actual plot and stakes. The world simply getting fixed by the power of god and capital takes away from that imo.

I would be perfectly fine if one or two characters shared these ideas, basically acting as a voice for the writer, it's just that it is hammered down again and again by everybody and as if you are weird or stupid for not seeing it like that, and the game basically forces you to accept that position as MC.
And yeah, it is all done very blunt, I admit the AI believing in god made me smirk dismissively, I wouldn't be able to take an AI seriously, if it believed in a specific religion.
Not to mention that it is also jarring that in a quasi-Cyberpunk setting, a rich guy taking over is presented as something positive, when one of the main stays of the genre is the way the companies owned and led by the rich and mighty control and corrupt everything.
But again, that is fine if it is part of the story, the idea that someone would openly be granted power to lead without being democratically elected, while certainly not to my liking, is just a reality, but I do balk at it being forced onto me as the only viable solution by every single character, including the MC, even if I disagree, through the choices I make in game.

I agree about forcing your idealogical/political agendas down someone's throat. But, it's in almost every aspect of life these days. Probably 80% of AVNs are political in some way. I gave up on one game because the game was so fuckin woke it made my head spin.

But, it's these devs's perogative to write what they want and if I or others don't like it, whether the game is good or not, we can just wish them well and walk away.

Quite right, and yes it's often the obnoxiously woke crowd that is the worst offender, it's why I mentioned Picard, or could also mention Rings of Power, or Halo, or Resident Evil on Netflix and countless others by now.
Though I also think it is okay, in some cases even necessary, to let them know they are coming on very strong and that for some it is a negative factor about the game or show or film or comicbook. Otherwise, we will really end up with entertainment being nothing than attempts to spread an agenda, and neither the left nor right should want that.

So, yes, if my frustration over being preached at becomes bigger than the enjoyment I get from playing, then I will probably stop playing. I do hope the dev dials it back a bit, though, because it's unnecessary, and it shouldn't be a central motivation for any creative project to preach your political agenda anyway. Just tell your story, make your game, leave preaching to the church, shouldn't be that hard.

And give us choices that matter. If we make a choice that goes against the grain of whatever the story is and are forced to just accept whatever it is, then there really shouldn't a be choice at that point. As you said, may as well just make it a KN at that point.

It's the politics of the fictional world the dev created it has no bearing on the real world. Why are things like "let the dev tell their story" or "learn to separate fiction from reality" only used when they're convenient?

It's not about "when it's convenient". For me, I just want the 'pussy politics' in a game. Who really cares about any other type of politics? Any other type of politics are irrelevant and if there's a choice to go against whatever ideal is presented, but, then are forced to follow that ideal, is just plain propoganda at that point. But, yes, devs of any game has the right to write whatever they want and if it becomes too much, we can just walk away.

That's just my 2cents.

I mean, I could point out that I mentioned several times, that I have no problems with the politics of the world, just the way they are presented, I could also point out, that I explicitly separate the story from the political agenda.
And that I even literally wrote, "Tell your story."

Politics get mentioned, everyone agrees about them, I as the MC get the option to disagree, but then either my reaction gets dismissed immediately OR even worse the MC is swayed instantly by whatever the next NPC says.
That isn't telling a story, that is forcing an agenda onto the player.

Why does no one disagree with what's happening? Why can't I even as the MC not have a different opinion? It's a rather divisive position to just declare someone Chancellor without an election, it is in fact what happens in dictatorships, it is very close to how fascists and Nazis usurped power in Italy, Spain and Germany. Of course, if it is part of the story, it should happen that way, but why is everyone so undifferentiated FOR those changes? That isn't in any way what would happen, these things are pretty controversial. Just like nowadays we have people who actually want authoritative, powerful governments, who aren't subject to scrutiny, and who say so, despite the majority still being supportive of democratic systems, this would and was also the case the other way around.
However, here this is presented as the only right way and every single important character agrees about it, and again, even if you as the MC don't, it's either declared irrelevant or the opinion is changed instantly.
I hope you understand the difference between telling a story and preaching now.

I read books and comics both by conservatives and liberals, I don't care for the politics of actors or directors, only for whether they are good at what they do or not.
I also know that someone's positions will always play some form of role in what they create, however it shouldn't be in the form of preaching or a lecture, it shouldn't be obvious and slammed in your face repeatedly. It shouldn't seem as if the message is more important to the creator than the story and characters. IMO that is the case in this game and that is why I criticize it, not because I don't want the dev to tell their story or because I disagree with him, it's solely about the way the dev's political agenda takes away my (non-political) agenda as a player, by making my decisions irrelevant or even completely pointless.
And if that is what he wants to do, that's also his decision to make, but why then have options anyway, like I wrote in my first post, if there are no real choices, remove the fake ones and sell the game for what it is for now, a straight kinetic novel.

Best to ignore him ( already on my ignore list ) , if it was a netorase game he wouldn't give a damn about politics or being kinetic and would've said same thing like you mentioned " let dev tell the story or learn to separate fiction from reality but it's Harem which is silly and unrealistic according to him . I mean he wants something to complain in here so here he goes , saw in one of his old posts something like games where male MC has sex with all the girls are as silly and unrealistic , he wants to see girls have sex with NPC , I wonder what those games are and what is the tag called ? I mean he even facepalmed bruce555 for his opinion on liking this game, I mean why would you do that , if you don't like the game , no one should ?

I agree, but, I'm not a fan of politics in a game. Whether they align with mine or not. Just give me the pussy politics. I'm a Constitutionalist, but, wtf does that matter in an AVN? Not a damn thing.

Oh so I wasn't the only one that got a little surprise notification today.
Regardless I'm going to still like this game and as far as politics go there's only a few small convos about it.
Nothing to riot over plus it doesn't get in the way of the booty which is what I'm here for.
So keep doing your thing Name(y)
