kinda, from what i remember the reason this game was scrapped was because he(demonroyal) was going to turn it into a different game that would include more than just naruto characters. can't remember its name though.

I want to issue my side of the fence about Demon Royal (Ill write DR from now on). I write all this as an hentai artist too. Not from hate, but a place of past love/admiration.
When I was still learning and getting better years ago, back on FA (Furaffinity), I used to look up to DR a lot! I always was excited to see his work. Even if not all of it was 9/10 for me, I usually enjoyed a part or another, and sometimes learned a bit (a natural process). One day, DR started spiraling out of the blue, years later. He complained about not getting seen/enough views - This is a thing I felt as well, since we were both settled on a site meant for FURRIES (FA). I asked him personally 2~3x on his shouts (comment section of profile) and it always was so negative, lashing out. But I spoke as a fan. Eventually, DR mass-deleted content and our comments as well. Now, a fan of mine contacted me tonight on the topic of DR (which I forgot since then) and its saddening to see. I cant afford to send him money (im under the red line myself month over month) but thanks to me keeping at it and the help of some fans, Ive been mostly okay. It baffles me that DR just doesnt try to act calmly and accept that he just have to keep at the grind and be transparent more. Said fan (a furry) I mentionned earlier, showed me a WIP of Tsunade (with fishnets) looking gorgeous! <3 I WANT to see more! DR got SO MUCH better since then! IDK whatsup with the artist. But sincerly, I wish for the best for you. Id suggest focusing 100% on TW and PXV. DA is a clusterf**** and is unoptimized as hell (dont get me started on tagging/group posting). Very saturated too... Back to DR: If he does animate in his game project, well, I salute the effort. Takes me 12-15h to fully make one character. I cant possibly imagine multiplying that by x15 to create one character animation (for example). So I understand things taking time. Like an MMO it cant be rushed. RPGMaker is fine as a platform (dont listen to what people say here - most dont have a leg to stand on accepting REN'PY content as "better"). You could argue that past RPGM engines had better sprites and rivers looking less blocky, buildings looking less cheap... But less options without coding. Oops im getting sidetracked. I missed seeing DR's stuff (ill make myself a not to check more recent stuff later in fact). I miss DR's art and find it sad to see it him going offline for a long time (TW post seems to point that way). To close off, Ill link a recent post of his I really like (im still amazed how much he improved since FA days):

. they went too hard on patreon/fanbox. isolated themselves in a bubble and the bubble burst. for example, lerra deletes all his 3 month old works. all of them. if you are a sub, get fucked. you cant see them. he atleast used to maintain pixiv with some pinups, but he doesnt do that anymore. he has been uploading comics with paragraph long stories. no one looks at "art" to read a 1000 word essay. this kind of stuff doesnt get you clicks and if you only focus on patreon, eventually patreon will stablize and then some of them will start leaving since, "you changed" which, of course you will. you are catering to your subs. i mean, onlyfan and twitch thots understood this problem and they uploaded "free" comtents. how the fuck do artists not get that. it doesnt help that most artist just fucking drop their accounts with no explaination or linking to their active account. lets take DA for example. it is a shit show of a website alongside HF(hentai foundry) so leaving it makes sense. what doesnt make sense is not linking to your active accounts. people see on DA or HF that artist stopped uploading and they assume they died so they start watching other artists. this is usually when new artists on these websites get more views. then the artist that move to other place fucking cry about it on twitter and shit. hell jujunaught moved his account on pixiv from his old doughnot named one to the new one and he didnt lose views. he also has patreon and still posts free stuff. Rampage0118 left FOR 2 YEARS (or more) to join the army and he didnt lose views or subs. if they made it work with patreon AND fanbox, ie, 2 subscrption website and moving to other websites and still are successful, then the problem isnt the system. hence throwing money at guys DR or lerra isnt gonna fix their problem if they are too retarded to understand that.Speaking about forgotten artists, does anyone remember JankinGen? He was a hentai artist who had his own page called: funny hentai .com, said artist went missing in 2017-2018 and nothing has been heard from him since then.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with demonroyal and why he behaves as if everyone hates his drawings and even on his Twitter I said in September that he would never make more drawings? Does he have some self-esteem problem or what?
