As bad as i feel for you, im also glad it wasnt just me. Both on androids too. So maybe just an android issue?
This is an issue that is happening to some users on Android. I reinstalled the renpy Android build tool to reduce the crashes, and it ended up causing this other problem. I'm trying to find definitive solution.
Try rollback after load the save, or load an older save, since there are more than 1000 new renders on the last update. Sometimes, when the player saves at the very end may result in early activation of ending sequence.
