I used to like this game. The reason I'm using the past tense is because I'm skeptical about whether I will continue to like it in the future.
As porn gamer, I have a intuition that the Dev definitely designed the story with three main corruption arcs in mind 1) Jo's story, 2) Mike and Adam's story, and 3) the VG club story. However, the issue is that these three story plot shouldn't progress separately—they need to intertwine organically for the narrative to have meaning.
For example, while progressing Jo's story, it should naturally tie in with Mike and Adam's story (like how the MC discussed Adam's masturbation during a car ride with Jo—that was a good setup for later). Or, if the VG club mission involves something perverted, then Adam, Mike, or Jo should be connected to that mission in some way. If the stories are interwoven like this, it would result in more exciting episodes and fewer clichés.
I was sure the Dev had this in mind and would use 1, 2, 3 in this way, but my expectations are gradually being let down. Especially with Adam's case—I was looking forward to episodes where he and Mike team up, but instead, the game only hints at Mike's involvement while Adam handles things only himself. This leads to a boring, cliché, and sometimes nonsensical "sex education" or sudden, unrealistic physical intimacy that feels out of place.
I'm okay with the weak depiction of sex scenes. I'm okay with the poor in writing. I'm even okay with the corruption progressing too quickly and lacking coherence at times—that’s all within the boundaries of what you can expect from a porn game. But if the aspects of the game I considered its strengths don't shine through, all that will remain are the cons .
I liked this game, and judging by the developer's update speed, I think they are diligent and hardworking. However, it's also true that I'm becoming more and more concerned.
Once again, every story needs to connect and build upon each other, creating episodes in the process. That's where true fetish content is born. If the game fails at this, it will only end up with its flaws on display.
