Do you live together with Kana? And is your characters dick big?
If your characters dick is big and you live together with Kana (I mean mc with big dick fucks Kana), Kana usually reluctant to go Lawrance's house and car scene also doesn't happen.
Also car scene doesn't happen if Lawrance already fucked Kana dozens of time. Easiest way to get car scene is MC took Kana's virginity and Lawrance didn't fuck Kana yet (or fucked 5-10 times), and your characters dick is small or medium sized, after Lawrance attacking Kana at 9 pm in the park and Kana blows Lawrance, Lawrance took Kana to car at 10 pm and ejaculates inside several times.

If you mean to open the pharmacy you just have to go to the area of the old central ward at night, you will see an area highlighted with yellow as some garbage bags you approach and there you get the key.
This game does so many things right, yet it misses the mark so badly.
NTR Survival Z, 温厚娘と小脱出, Dancer class girlfriend, this game does the same things in spirit, but it's completely fucked over by the rigid CG system in practice.
Would have been kusoge territory without the sex stats, despite the somewhat enjoyable battle system.
Edit : Also, fucking hell why can't we save in safe rooms or something.
To not game the camera system i guess ?
I'm all for grinding, but this ain't a fucking MMO let me save !

Everything is worse about that game. The gameplay. The Story. The reason for the NTR. The way the NTR works... though I will give them points for the emote stuff while out exploring. I suppose whether the art is worse too is a matter of preference... but I definitely think that it's worse.
I honestly have no idea how you think that this game misses the mark.
Still, it's an interesting take. I'll have to bump up the Dancer class game from my backlog. No idea what that other game you listed is. Can't be assed to search for it.
Honestly, the only way in which Nebel could be said to "miss the mark" is the fact that it can take a while to get the lewds going and get the ability to see them all... but... uh... if that was a real problem, then VNs that take 8+ hours to have any lewds going at all would be considered automatically bad, and there's more than a few that are considered amazing... so that can't be it.
It misses the mark due to being confused about what its trying to be. Is kana being harassed? or is she simply cheating? The game is very confused about this. If harassment is the deal then the submission score is meaningless and she'd be sexed up way earlier. So i guess it is corruption and cheating. But.. Most of the scenes show her hating it, so again, is it harassment, or is it cheating? I purposely made this annoying as it's just a very confused game.
On a side note: I said it before, but the characters in the dungeon and the characters in the town are different people. Also MC witnessing cheating and forgetting about it the moment he closes the screen.

It's not confused about anything at all. Kana doesn't have much of a choice, and depending on triggered events, she can lose her virginity to L pretty fast. (Generally by Kana ending up drunk.) In case you didn't notice, L isn't entirely content to just fuck Kana. He explicitly wants to make her submit to him, which is why he plays along with her resistance, when he's not made extra angry anyway. Kana's naturally more resistant during the day and has less excuses during the night, so the night scenes are more intense from the start.
It's also NTR, y'know, the genre where sex has similar effects to hard drugs? The submission score is related to that, showcasing Kana's lowering resistance until she just snaps and sex becomes her number 1 priority.
I agree that the way it works in the day-time is not ideal, but that's partly because the game was never optimized beyond initial playthrough status of the intended path. If you play things straight, in the 1st playthrough, you're not gonna have enough hi-rez cameras, and enough cameras in general, to keep track of what Kana's doing. You'll be relying on phone calling her or clearing things properly to stop L from messing with her. So MC not having better reactions to things won't really be a factor in the 1st playthrough unless you're explicitly trying to cheat and/or farm for scenes from the get-go... in which case it's on you.
And of course things break in NG+, d'oh. That's pretty normal for NG+.
It obviously doesn't help that BBQ clearly wanted to have a path where the MC enjoys watching Kana dicking around. It's why we have the so called Netorase ending to begin with after all. So the current situation isn't quite as bad as I've seen in some other NTR games where the MC is just a complete dumbass. In this one at least you can think that he's conflicted about things.

Oh, I wasn't saying that you don't have a right to add your opinion. I was just pointing out that whatever flaws that guy saw might be completely different, or not flaws at all, given the games he linked.
As for Nebel being rushed... Uh...Sorta? Nebel was hit pretty hard by COVID, so BBQ never really got to do everything he wanted with the game.
As for "why not keep working it?"... Because it doesn't get you as much money as working on something new. "Why ASMRs then?" Because BBQ doesn't have to personally do anything for those except review them. He hires the artist, he hires the voice actress, maybe he writes the script, but that's it. Not to mention that different media for a single story are a whole cultural thing for Japan tbh... Same with the motion anime-thing. BBQ's effort for that is minimal. He can keep coding and stuff for other games while that's being done.
The more I looked at BBQ's ci-en, the more I got the impression that the guy is high maintenance so to speak. He likes to travel and eat good food and stuff. He likes an expensive life-style which means his income needs to be higher than what the average H-game dev needs.
Is that good or bad? Neither, but it does mean that BBQ will tend to move forward constantly harder than some other devs out there.
You can close a location (like the park).
If you got all the events for a location, you can close it so events more likely happen elsewhere.
