That sounds awesome and more complicated than I can handle. Maybe after you finish your game I can use some of that in mine but I need to see it in action. I do like the no wrong actions approach. Always liked that approach. I hate making a wrong choice and feeling like I missed something. I may have some of that in my game now that I think about but I'm still early. I can course correct somehow.
A lot of where the inspiration for my system comes from is the gameplay in Ptolemy's Intimate Relations. In his game when the choices appear you get to either be BOLD or TIMID. Depending on what you choose the story progresses. So, for instance, in my game, Alexis gets a chance to tease Alexander a little, doing so makes her a little bolder, makes them both a little more lustful. Not doing it means nothing, nothing changes. However, there comes a point in the story where I call back to that possibility, if Alexisbold >= 7 she allows herself to masturbate to the thought of being with her brother. If it isn't she goes to be frustrated and worried about how she is thinking of him. Alexander meanwhile had a choice of whether or not to relieve himself in the shower. If he does and she went to bed restless he gets in bed with her and holds her tight. She wakes up comfortable in his arms and has a sort of existential crisis where she questions if she should be allowing herself to feel these things, if feeling these things makes her a monster... The prologue to this story has their father molesting Alexander, getting caught, and killed by Alexis. So Alexis has this fear that having those kinds of feelings for Alexander makes her no better than their father. It actually makes the line where you don't masturbate more interesting than the one where you do.

Holy shit did you say you just can't do the artwork for this? Is that what's holding you up? Sounds awesome.

Yeah, its just the art. I'll find someone eventually. I've got a forum post here somewhere about it. And I posted something in an art thread that Palanto Games suggested.

Try writing out all the images you need first. Use placeholders if you have to. I was cutting and pasting pornstars into my game before i started entering models. sometimes you just need a reference. I would offer to help but I don't know if my art is good enough. I want to see your stuff with DAZ models. But yeah make a list of images you need. img001, img002, img003. I say make the game without the images, put placeholders. if you find a porn image you like use it as a reference so when you can put your art you'll have a general idea. Yeah fuck the art for now, just work on what you're clearly good at. Get that buttoned up and then just insert the art when your ready.

What I've done is put notes in my script for where they'll go, using the terminology that ren'py uses. The notes are detailed descriptions of the scene, background, characters, etc. Then on top of that my writing itself focuses on details. So during the prologue when Alexis walks in on the assault, their fathers pants are on the floor, I draw attention to them, then the next line pulls you to his belt on which his pistol is holstered. With my detail oriented writing and the notations I'm pretty confident. For now I'll leave the backgrounds black.

If you could pick an actress or pornstar to be your main character who would you pick? And at what age?

Sorry, I had dinner and spent some time with my bro. So yeah, my first thought when you asked was Ariel Rebel. Just taller and with blue eyes.

Well it sounds like a fun game to play :) I'd play it ;)
Twine isn't used much for games even though it's a pretty good tool to create a branching story (We use it for our ren'py game to create the routes and merge them back together and so on) ;)
The images look pretty nice too, good thing is there's a variety of breast sizes. Cause I don't like them too big and it seems like there is a character for everyone in there :)

Advertising the game on boards like this one can help you get support on patreon if you decide to go that road. But "IF" you want to go that road then do it from the get go, meaning have a patreon page ready by the time you release your first version.
Also, try to have some month's of work done before you release a first version, so that if you lag a bit behind you'd still have something to release... i.e. do 3 versions of the game, then release the first version, build the fourth version then release the second and so on... Just in case you get sick or have other RL issues... some people don't consider patreon to be a support for creators but a market place for content and they think you'd have to release something EVERY month else they'll leave ;) It's alright for them to think that way, but it wasn't supposed to be like that ;) Now everyone is used to it being like that so you have to cope with it and prepare for the worst :)

Alright, whatever you decide, good luck with that :) And if you release the game let me know! :)
My fantastic friend Palanto.. I just tried out Ren'py as you suggested and I think I'm going to make the switch. I just have to figure out the $variable stuff. I think I'm going to do it.

If you want to figure out that $ variable stuff then try learning "Python" :) It's not that difficult to learn and it can help you big time later on :)
All the other things are "ren'py" internal, like:
Code:
image scene01 = "images/scenes/scene01"
scene scene01
with dissolve

pname "text"
and stuff like that :)

I'm going to try and tackle a simple $variable of ordering food. I don't get the Scene stuff though. I get how show "image" thing works but what's the point of the scene tag?

The scene tag is the full background image, while show is everything on top of that in the order of it being shown
so if you have two characters, the player and an enemy centered at the screen and you want a black background for them you'd write it like this:
Code:
# black background
scene black
with dissolve

# Player shown in the center of the screen on layer1 (well you have to define it being centered and so on but just for simplicity I show it like this)
show PlayerCenter
with dissolve

# Enemy shown in the center of the screen on layer2 (on top of the player now)
show enemyCenter
with dissolve
Which would end up showing a black background, with a player under the enemy :)
So if you just want to do "full scene" images and if you don't need "character sprites" then you'd just and only use the scene command.

Also the "scene command" deletes everything shown before from the screen, so the next
Code:
scene black
with dissolve
would remove the last background AND the character sprites of the player and enemy from before :)
Whereas the "show" command would just add another image on top of the old one... which would end up being a big hit on the players RAM if you have thousands of images shown at the same time (without them being visible at all except for the last full scene image :) )
