Yeah...that "Male Protagonist" tag needs to be removed. Tags are supposed to be features that are currently available, and it isn't.
Selecting "Male MC" after going through the "Give us your moneys!" spiel boots you back out to the main menu.
Put the male part in the "Genre" tab until it's ready.

Really? I didn't bother with the prologue thing. Probably didn't even notice it when I got the main game to be honest.
If that's enough to have the tag remain, then fine I guess, but I think that's pretty damn dumb if so.

I think the dev would've preferred a new thread given how much the game's changed since it first came out but in any case work on the male MC route is well underway with some good looking renders and it should hopefully be out early next month.

There is a Rape in the Prologue but not in Episode 1 or in the next Versions.
The Tag is added and didnt removed.
ATM is no Lesbian Tag added but it will come in Episode 2.
We work on a Fix at this Time, sry for the Trouble, I will do a Post after the Fix is finished

That error I have seen many times with some games when you extract the game files. 1) Close the game. 2) Deleted screens.rpy and screens.rpyc files. 3) Load game error should be gone but will come back if you reload the game screen or close the game and load it back up as those 2 files will be back in the folder and will need to be deleted again.
