The new update is great for all Pearl lovers and handles the former betrayal very well, its a good addition for both of the sister and im saying that as someone who disliked the pirate arc

Not a Pearl fan and can't imagine anything that would justify the former betrayal - I mean I don't really care about excuses or reasons. I see the pirate girls as enemies.

Yeah, if I remember right I have about -4 relationship points with the pirate girls (combined) - They're not my friends and have no reason to think they are.

Kira is the only one I don't like mostly cause I can't stand her. I found it alot easier to forgive Peral tbh because of the blackmail and we did get the chalice back in the end and she helped take down the other pirates with her father.

It was basically the same as Selena's excuse.

Same TBH - they have no reason to think they can contact me again. I repeatedly told them all to fuck off, every chance I got.

She also was unaware MC needed it to save Eliza. It was just an expensive trinket to save her sister. As far as she know, there was no danger to MC or Eliza.

Kira and Selena directly put MC or Eliza in mortal danger and knew what they were doing.

Very different scenarios.

Doesn't matter to me. I think of them as basically the same and I would have killed both the pirate girls if I had the choice. I certainly wouldn't go back and help them with anything.

I see it differently personally because Eliza actually did get hurt and Peral we were able to get it back and she helped us in the process and showed felt bad for doing beyond just saying im sorry. She actually didn't want anything to do with the MC anymore because of how she felt for what she did.

Edit : like Milton said she didn't know he was to help someone we love.

I hope that she retains that feeling because I want nothing to do with either of them.

Only read if you are fine with getting spoiled with 0.5 a little bit Whats very different between pearl and the other betrayals is that Pearl is unable to accept the MC's forgiveness despite the fact that the MC forgave her. She doesnt deem herself worthy of his kindness and is driven by the desire to make up for her failure instead of moving just past it.

She too thinks that nothing justifies the betrayal until she finds a way to help the nephilim enough to make up for it . Her biggest fear is to not get the chance to at least try to redeem herself. Thats a great character development/motivation.

She will only accept to be forgiven if she will be able to prove herself worthy of it. And it has to be furthermore considered that this girl got tortured, abused and hurt and kept in a constant state of fear her whole life by her father.

And now she wants her new daddy to be proud of her

This really won me over esp when she's able to achieve that.

Same pretty much. I also like the bartender - enough that if she still wants a job on the farm I'll give her one but don't like her as a Li either - and I'm fine just never seeing the pirate girls again, but I'd rather kill them than talk to them. For me this is a story about MC and Eliza, with revenge as a sort of sub plot. IDGAF about the kingdom or most of the people in it.

Personally I think killing any of the LI aside for Selena is a bit much and overly harsh unless you are playing a Dark save. I don't think anyone has done anything to warrant it no matter how much you may or may not like them.

I think Selena and the pirate girls are basically equally bad. Aside from Eliza, and maybe Sylph (for Eliza's sake) there is no one in the story who I'd really intervene to save and I would def. kill Selena and the pirate girls.

Yeah ... when I launch the new website (see sig) I'm not sure what to say about this game yet because I like so few of the characters and dislike several - Selena, the pirate girls, Alice (don't want to kill Alice but I don't like her), Luna ... I think her name is, the witch girl ... again, don't want to kill her but I don't like her ... the cousins ... It's really just MC and Eliza and a few people I like a little bit like Sylph and the barmaid. Edit: I mean Eliza is Li Hall of Fame material (yes there is going to be one) but there are no others who I'd consider "good" as Lis go.
