The soulbinding only happens when you are romancing the goddesses, as said, it's marriage for them, sex and all, it has no influence on the other LI paths.
Also if you want either Gaia or the lusty one, you are forced to accept Maia.

I am romancing everyone and got an error message at this very part. And just like the previous comment, when it came time the soul binding did not happen. So I believe it is a gameplay error though I could be wrong. I don't know which version of the game they are using.

Well, I just finished the 5.9 version, and started again like suggested. I quite liked the new scenes added to the start and hope we go back to them at some point. I am glad the island is finished, and look forward to eventually perhaps getting with the Queen, Princess, Luna, Dianna, Rin and maybe Luna's mother.

I've just started the game, checking the gallery I saw that the first 3 episodes had 4 lewd scenes and the last 3 episodes had like a 100 lewd scenes.
Is it because the last episodes are significantly larger in size or does the story become a fuckfest later on?

The aunt is the worst offender of them all. I think it's said that the MC is very attractive to women because he is a nephilim. But he only got that power after he found his mother (if I understand that scene correctly).
His aunt was lusting for him even before this.

It's even worse. The way the uncle is demonized is just moronic. Look at how the aunt and uncle interact. He's not perfect, but he does work to support his family. He's in an arranged and loveless marriage as well and copes by drinking and whoring. Not the best coping mechanism, but at least he isn't fantasizing about prepubescent girls.
Their house looks roomy and well maintained, and they saved up to send their children to the city so they have an opportunity to broaden their views and start their adult lives. The aunt and uncle both miss physical affection, and her badgering him while presenting herself as perfect is just silly. And when he's finally had enough and goes too far, he's immediately irredeemable and has to forgo his house and occupation.
I don't think he was wrong to want dinner to be ready when he came home. He works and brings in money, he keeps up his end of the arrangement, and so should the aunt. The aunt portrays herself as working her butt off, but this is contradicted by her bathing in the stream while gossiping with the blacksmith's daughter and finding enough time to intimately test the produce. She has as many flaws as the uncle, but because she's a woman with big tits, she's the victim.
It's very strange too because the aunt literally starts the game saying that he's not a bad guy and has just accepted his situation. There is no reason to demonize him so the mc can get the aunt, when the game already established they're only married for the sake of appearances. The entire thing with the uncle is completely unnecessary.
