How is something going to be 100% confirmed though? Even if it is plagiarism it's unlikely buu would ever admit it and if Buu got permission from lust city's dev then I don't understand why he wouldn't just say so. That's the biggest issue I'm having. I don't really have an issue with ideas being similar but I think it's a bit unethical to just steal entire scenes like that without asking. Honestly, I don't get why people are rushing to defend this. Just because you like part of the game doesn't mean you need to defend the game and the dev with everything they do. I also dont think it really matters whether just one chapter is copied

ngl with all this back and forth talking about said other game and potential plagiarism surprise there isn't a mod notice on the front page like ive seen on some game threads. ( I say potential because I'm not getting into if it is or isn't plus I haven't played any of the Island update yet)

I haven't played the other game so I have no idea either. Devs chat, compare ideas, do crossovers, give each other previews and so on, all the time without telling readers, so I think the best thing to do is notify the other dev and let them take action if there is anything to take action over. In the meantime, I'm just going to hope the MC gets back to Eliza sooner rather than later.

Im really enjoying the game. Just finished my first play thru. Keep up the good work. Hope it continues till the end. Edward some how being on the island and walking around like he owns the places is bizarre though. Tried to do just Eliza and good alignment but Echo got me.

I'm still doing just Eliza and dark path - haven't even been tempted by any of the others so far.

Most stuff like that is just cameos and Easter eggs. I've never seen a dev copy entire scenes from another dev.

True, as I said, I don't know the other VN to say or the two devs to say. I am just saying we may not have all the information. I'd contact the other dev and see.

I'm still doing just Eliza and dark path - haven't even been tempted by any of the others so far.

The dark path seems to have fallen away. I'm not sure it even applies anymore

Probably not, but I can dream. (TBH not full dark because some of the stuff just seemed like being a dick for no particular reason or benefit). Anyway, the OP says something about 'giving in to the dark side or becoming a symbol of hope' and now that I've explored the world a bit and met its inhabitants, the dark side seems like the way to go.

I just have the one save. I won't be playing this one much longer unless it improves. I've found a lot of other things that have better stories and where it feels like the Dev is putting in more effort. (Buu seems to be putting all of his effort into speed, at the cost of making it good - and there isn't much draw in lots and lots of boring content.)

tbh I liked the Story up until the end of Ch4 there were things that felt like it skipped over or happened to quickly like the Warewolf fight. But im someone that plays for characters over story only some AVN's I put story first not all and this isn't one of them. Eliza is the main thing that keeps me playing just might mean I skip updates for sometime like with this chapter

You can have good characters without a good story, but they have to be really good characters to keep me interested. Tarron is someone I do not fear at all to me he is just a cockroach that won't die. If I don't fear a Villian what good are they as a villian. I agree about the story needing good characters. I don't fear Taron's power. I fear his ability to be a sneaky bastard and hurt people I care about and then vanish into the woodwork. But really that's all I want out of this, to kill Taron and settle down with Eliza. I don't care about the bigger villain and don't care enough about anyone else to stop the bigger villain as long as they leave Eliza alone. Eliza and Barron are the only characters the plot has made me care enough about to get involved - and I wouldn't keep playing for an endless cycle of "let's rescue Eliza, again".

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. I don’t care about the ‘big bad’ I doubt I’ll keep playing after Taron/season 1.
