So I'm curious, did anybody let Marah, (The older High Priestess lady), into the Romance path or did you all pass on her. I didn't even have to give it a second thought I just clicked Friendship before I knew it. And then I was like yeah bitch, when the MC was like, "You tried to kill me, poison my reputation with the tribe, and have been fighting me the whole time, and now you want to accept me. Fuck you." So, did anybody give her a chance or was she kicked to the curb by everyone? I mean I can't believe it but Marah made me think more highly of Kira, and I hated Kira.

was like uhhh yeah nah this aint a thing for me dawg. Aint into psycho radicalists. I'm sure people did it for the scene collection but in an honest playthrough doubt many did. Marah is just completely and utterly unlikeable, shes too old to be a tsundere which she tries to be... alot, she's obsessively hypervigilant so even when the person ranking above her told her to stand down multiple times she flat out refused, hell, even in comparison to sivir who sadly has a bit of tarnish because she was directly involved in the event and forced to have a child with one of the scumbags, she's not even half as good of a pick lol. Sivir had some resentment but instantly backed off, Marah took it way too far, multiple times too.

Also, was anyone surprised about Brenda? I wasn't lol. I had a strong feeling that scene was coming. I am curious if shes still active though. I'm assuming not.

And each update had like 500 to 1000 renders, most of which were just the MC being a total guy slut. is that word allowed Lol

Not gonna lie I didn't like the arc at the start, but it grew on me, what ended up growing off of me though is the monumental amounts of dialogue and dirty talk that was pretty irrelevant which made it feel like a drag alot. Can only hear so much spear and flower before I went mad, started just skipping all the spicy dialogue entirely because it never had anything really relevant. The actual story bits of that arc was good though, the temples, the goddesses, the mythical beast, yadayada. All really solid, had a good time. Was even a little sad that MC was leaving. However admittedly, I just want some god damn progress with Rin and also do miss Eliza and the Princesses antics. It'll be nice to be back in Luxenford. Pearl had her adorable moments with sharky and fishy talk but it wasn't enough to carry the wholesome bits on its own.

but to an extent my main gripe with this game is probably the overwhelming amount of harem lol. I love harem, I always want harem, but girls that can keep up with a demi-god in stamina harem that are utterly insatiable, and counting upwards of 30+ at this point is getting out of hand lol. Also starts getting to the point like the Ritual, if you have any characters your fond of specifically, you might not have gotten a scene out of the like 8 scenes that played. IE: Miyo, Vex, Ria, etc. Starts to get a bit suffocating at times. It's kind of ironic in a way, when a porn game has a decent enough story that it doesnt need as much porn to carry it. But whew, it is a lot and only going to continue to get worse lol.

(should add im not shitting on the game at all, just a personal gripe)

I did, it's a pokemon game. It's not the right slogan, but gotta bang them all. Also it's thanks to Marah that we start the A'khan quest and reunite with Pearl. She's been more annoying than dangerous. Also also, she's a 40 y/o virgin, so, yeah.

Also, while her methods and judgement may have been pretty shitty, her motivation was always to protect her people, which is a good quality.

The new content definitely isn't worth restarting.
The problem you will have is, that the dev introduced skill points as well added other variables...so yeah pretty much needs a restart...

I was kinda sad that Pearl had seemingly been nerfed since getting to the island.

Out of the 2 sisters, she was supposed to be the nutjob killer.

Nice to see she hasn't lost a step. Seeing Pearl back to form makes me happy.

It's probably not as bad for me, I did have a habit of skipping most of the island stuff. I've played the game it took "inspiration" from and wasn't really interested in seeing more.

Decided to play it this time, actually wasn't too bad. Dragged out longer than I would have liked but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

I'll try my old save in a bit to see if I get the same outcomes.

I think the reason so many people hated it was because it lasted almost a damn year when you're playing it bit by bit as each update dropped.

When going through it all from start to finish in one sitting, it still drags on a fair bit but doesn't feel nearly as long as when it's being drip-fed to you as monthly updates. Especially when every month you're just screaming internally "I want my *insert favorite main cast LI*!!!"

For clarity, I also haven't played the "inspiration" game yet, so I don't have that deja vu effect that so many have mentioned.

The problem a lot of us had is what you mention in your last sentence.

The islands story and lore are an exact copy of everything that happens in another game.

Hidden island of women, men did bad things to them, MC finds them and gets involved etc.. etc..

The only difference is the MC. Here we have a Nephilim, there it was just a guy and his group but everything else is practically the same.

It wasn't that we hated the whole island experience it was more than not enough was changed to make it unique and it lasted too long because of that.

We're basically seeing a chunk of a story we've already seen before just with different actors. It's like a Hollywood remake. The main issue being the other game isn't exactly old, it's last update was this month. So basically we've had 2 games with the same story running at the same time with the other game only having started 5 or 6 months prior to this game starting.

You can see why this would be jarring to some.

Apparently, adding extra content, was an opportunity created by making changes to the code, or vice-versa. Anyway, yes, it was obviously made specifically to waste your time. Because........ ah well :: Shakes Head ::
