Imo there's not really that much difference between the beginning of the game and now. All he really did was add the rewrite the prologue slightly, add mc's aunt(by marriage), alice's mom and the blacksmith's daughter as love interest but as of 5.9 neither had any flags to get on their routes in the first place. Aside from that the only other difference is that he introduced a third alterntive choice to some of the intimidate/persuade choices, have Captain blackheart give the mc a lore dump on the circles of hell. Then add a tiny tiny bit more detail when the king is giving a lore dump on the other continents. If you want to see some of the new lore I guess it's worth it, but imo a restart isn't really necessary.

I would generally agree with you, however he did add Leadership & Charisma as a checkpoint for gaining trust/love points with the LIs not just dialogue changes. True trust points don't seem to affect much at this point but that might change in later chapters, or you could do what I did ... I simply edited my 'last save' and gave myself 20 points of each
because after quickly checking them out, I personally have little to no interest in the Aunt or Alice's mom, and the Island gave us enough for me to ignore the Blacksmith's daughter, and keep in mind we're going back to the island, so there's bound to be even more there

Right. Well I was just going by the changelog difference, I'm not an old fan of this game to know.

Updates usually come on the smaller side. Makes getting a bigger update more of a shock.
Sometimes we get over 1k renders in an update, mainly it's between 200-500.

while im a big fan of this AVN and grateful for the update, I am a bit disappointed in it. Sure there was a transition period from the Jungle to City but I really hoped that we would progress with the Queen and Princess, instead we get a bunch of dialogue and little if any "fun" content. Yes, im probably acting like a brat, but hey, im sharing my misery with this!

But not really necessary, imo
Early on you'll get then option to lock in the harem path, you might have to do it a couple more times
And as long you stick to the light path, imo, and don't kill and romance every lady, you should be golden

No sex scenes yet, but definitely set up for a future update, along with the MCs aunt Maya, Maya currently has 2 scene on her own
