One of the problems with too many Lis is it makes any real character development impossible. Eliza has been through quite a bit because she got most of the early chapters to herself but at this point it's just not possible unless Buu is going to pause the main plot for 5 years or so while we learn about all of the women he's introduced. And some of them, even when they've gotten a decent amount of screen time don't seem to have grown or developed much. Alice is still obsessed with joining MC for adventures, which has been her obsession since she was 10, the pirate twins are the pirate twins - fierce, renowned pirates who mostly act like horny Disney princesses and have to be rescued a lot.
ok do some actual fucking research because AGAIN the ENVIROMENT isn't the only thing they stole there's even a fucking screenshot that someone posted proving its word for word. and no the other dev doesn't know this guy stole his shit or probably doesn't care and no they didn't fucking share so your fucking assuming and riding this guys dick again just because you like his game that literally probably stole every environment from other games that people don't know about.

Have you played the othr game yourself to confirm this? As well was it a singular screenshot as proof. If so it could share a few word for word sentences but still be a completely different story. Ill know more myself once i actually jump into the other game myself, but the other one is sandbox (or has that tag) SOO might not make it that far.

All I can say is that Nephilim is a great game...genuinely a 9 out of 10 in my book. A few annoying bits like the prolonged cave scene with Kira and Selene's arc are the only things that keep me from calling this a genuine 10 out of 10.

So i actually did play it to check myself, and some of those are cherry picked. Lets be honest the sex scene wee can discount those cause thats just typical shit females say in avns LOL.
As for the rest, yes there are some similarities but there are enough differences. For once yes in both the MC gets pushed into a trap, but after the trap there are differences. (actually quite a few during that part). Also the "chief" is referenced differently in both. While im not discrediting the similarities, (and theres a chance that it was either taken from it OR inspiration from it) but there are quite a few differences too. I didnt scan everything worth for word, but the whole eb and flow seems a bit different in both. But who knows.
Maybe the dev just needed some bits and pieces to use to fill in the gaps and those gaps are what is being used to say its stolen? or maybe it is hard to say without going word for word script by script, and i honestly dont have the patience for that myself. But yea
One main difference i spotted in my quick shuffle through the text, is that when you go to the "pleasure temple" in both it is different. You get to choose to either be submissive or dominante, or both. In Nephilim i think its more you can choose to either be alone, with someone, or not at all.
Edit: After really looking at that screenshot and thinking about it its heavily cherrypicked.
The dragged and darted scenes: They are tribal they are going to use stuff like darts and stuff to nock people out thats a given.
Wake up scenes: Mc in Lust City talks about being in chains MC in Nephilim has chain and ball attached not chains.
Scene showing chief telling them to leave: Okay how much differently could they say to leave LOL.
Lost city reference: Okay?? that one is copy but lets be honest, if in both cases its a lost city, any outsider would call it "the lost city of x yz.

ok for one a fucking ball and chain is still a fucking chain like where the fuck do you get a ball and CHAIN isn't a chain? and two literally there is no temple scene in the images that person sent at all and literally the shit the mc says in Nephilim mean exactly the same from what the mc in lust city says. heck in the mc waking up scene and being dragged scene they both literally just say the same words but in different ways like this is basic speaking where you can say words in different ways. start a private conversation if you want to continue this.

By its not a chain i more meant hes not chained u, basing it off the screenshot it looked like the mc was chained to something that is what i was referencing.

I haven't written my review of this one yet, but the writing is definitely getting a super low grade (especially with the plagiarism). The gameplay will get a low grade too - since it's almost a kinetic novel.

Does anyone feel like the Light/Dark thing was abandoned? I feel like it's not even relevant to the story any more.
It hasn't come up in a while but it will probably come up again at some point...near the end of the game if nothing else.

Hey, you are from my point of view overly critical with this game, what happend ?
It sometimes reads as when you are angry at the Dev. (my impresion)
it somehow never made any difference, only a bit of different scenes. Like killing some people, and animals...
Like the rest says, it might come back up in the future...
I also wonder how the gods would react to him if he is all bad or all good...
Overall I don't think the gods would care all that much unless the MC were to act against their direct interest...like if the MC started killing a lot of their followers. But maybe not even then...I mean Balthazar wanted to end the world from what we know and without followers at least some of the gods would cease to exist. But even then the gods did not seem to act...it was ultimately still left to mortals to stop him. So yeah, I wouldn't expect much from the gods in terms of stepping in to do something against the MC.

It was abandoned because branching paths actually takes effort. Why put in effort when you can just copy other AVNs' homework?
