I'm guessing you started with Mai's story. Try Annie. Even Mai's story goes in a direction that you might appreciate. But it's valid to stop at any time for any reason. Thanks for playing.
I actually agree with removing the tag NTR, because it's apparent that few really understand the complexity of those Japanese jargons: Netorare, netori and netorase. It would make things much easier by replacing them with Cuckolding, female pov cheating and open relationship.
Actually we only have 1 true NTS story which is Annie. I don't know if this is your first version but to explain, we have removed one character from the game and there are 2 NTR girls that are just getting reworks on their backend and will return, and one harder ntr character slated to come. Mai's story starts off as NTS (some people might not like that) but goes into NTR with some player choice dynamics.
No, please ! Tell the story/stories like you (your team) feels. Everytime Devs listen to the audience it ends up in a disaster. Tell us your story, some pleople will like it, some others not. But it's normal. You can't please everyone and if you even try....at the end nobody will be happy. It ALWAYS happen like that.
Its not a community written project lol. I just ask them what themes they want to see. You can refer to our old polls on Patreon. It's just theme tags like "innocent", "tomboy" etc... and some pictures of potential girl directions. Nothing beyond that. I've had many people try to hijack story telling (they were being nice about what they like to see but persistent). I maintain creative control.
Oh, please don't fuss over. They are talking about tags more than the actual stories. The dev team made those adjustments apparently far earlier than the post discussing NTR and NTS, and this audience merely got frustrated by the confusing tags.
For what it's worth, the game cycles through all 8 pictures and animates the ones which are animated, on the "Latest Games & Updates" page. Similarly, they load and play as animations if you click on the thumbnails in the OP to get the full version(s) So it seems it all works the way it does for other games around here, and you didn't do anything wrong.

Hi, maybe you are right. It's just that I have seen too many controversity in F95 about storytelling and Tags. I trust the dev will keep creativity freedom.
The complexity of the Japanese jargon is because they describe emotions, not actual acts. Netorare is when one feels pleasure along with displeasure from the feelings of anxiety associated with nonmonogamy (either real or imagined). Netorase describes when the protagonist doesn't have that associated angst with the nonmonogamy and only experiences pleasure from the experience. The thing is, two people can be put in the same situation and feel completely different things, so if it is netorare or netorase is really dependent on the point of view of the observer.
Yeah it's a terrible approach. It virtually guarantees that the stories will never go anywhere. As soon as things start to heat up and the content that everyone wants seems to be imminent, then that storyline gets abandoned. Imagine authors did this... just spent years writing the first two chapters of a dozen different books. No bueno.
I think the issue with Neto games is that most writers don't know where to go with them. They are usually pretty shallow beyond the initial premise, like a Saturday Night Live sketch that starts strong but quickly overstays its welcome. It usually becomes a corruption game where the girlfriend/wife does increasingly more risque stuff while the developer rations out the escalation as long as possible because they know there will be a point where they can't push it any further and that will be the end of the game because there's no real story to conclude. If you only have one story, then you reach that end faster and either have an abandoned game (which makes people wary of investing in your game in the future) or a game with an abrupt, unsatisfying, ending. If you have 5 stories, you can pad out the game for longer before everyone realizes that the emperor has no clothes.

NTR is nonconsensual cheating so that tag would be redundant.
