Is the choice to decide to bring down New Antioch still on the cards? It seems to me, looking briefly at the code at what's being tracked, seeing as how 3 of the main LIs on the banner are members of the Royal family, how Gaius is being molded into this fatherly mentor figure etc. that we're heading in only one direction and that is being New Antioch's savior - from both the Cicero/Jamie Lannister wannabe faction (I'd put money on Enzo killing Gaius at some stage and we're gonna have to avenge him too) and on the virus front....and see to its downfall.
You will decide the fate of New Antioch.
Regardless of my 90% suspicion that Dante is the one who killed his father (10% its the Ferrymen) and will have to be dealt with, thus making MC's original mission bogus, this does not change the fact that you are a son (even a dug out of a pre-collapse pod one) of New Riften , not Antioch. A duped patsy who has a change of heart on learning the truth...is rather corny. Can we actively choose to work against the city on our own volition regardless? (Start our own little faction with Safiya, Rocco, the fishmonger, Titus, beer-belly guy and the blue team even ).
Being good and evil has got nothing to do with it. To use the same Roman analogy used by this game, the way I see it, if you're a son of Germania, Gaul, Britannia, Hispania etc. that have been ruthlessly exploited by Rome for centuries (they even use the same excuse "the advancement of civilization"); like Boudicca, like Arminius, like Hannibal son of Hamilcar, it's your duty to see Rome burn if you are able. (Keep the doctor and the techie though, we still want to cure the virus under a new MC led civilization ).
It's still cool if we can't though, am enjoying the game and looking forward to the next chapters.
