Now you can decide yourself , I added compressed because I know 21 gigs is alot.
Ya there's some lose of detail but still a fair trade for 18 gigs of space and a much faster download time. That said I'm curious what you're using to compress it cause I was doing some test cases in GIMP using your original uncompressed 2k image, trying out various quality settings and other tweaks, I was getting significantly greater reductions in size while retaining more quality than you did even without taking drastic measures. Here's an example of what I mean exporting in GIMP at 70% quality with no special tweaking of any kind aka same image format, image resolution, pixel resolution, color precision, etc...; an 89.7% reduction vs your 57.7% but lacking that notable blurriness on the hands present in yours.

I used xn convert , problem isn't compressing really.

I just render raw at 1440p so it becomes quite big , in any case I can probably get it better done but I upload the original 20 gig version for the fact that we aren't in dial up era anymore and 20 gigs isn't that tough to download for modern pcs.

However the compressed is for those that simply want a quick look at it or might have slow internet due to geo location issues.

We might not be in the dial-up era anymore but I think you'll still find 90+% of people opt for the 2gb version. Even on a decent net connection 20 gigs is still like a half hour download assuming you can get full speed the whole time, which most people almost definitely aren't given typical file host throttling which will make it more like half a day, and it's gonna take up a lot more space than other games which offer as much or more content. In other words unless there's something amazingly special about the game people will typically opt for the comped version to save time and drive space if not skip it entirely in favor of something else. Not to mention if they're gonna try to play it mobile than the comped version is their only option since both Google and Apple impose 4gb limits on app size.

I sadly had to give up on mobile / android versions due to that very reason.

I'm quite occupied as it is with work + rendering que so making my dev do extra work for that would be quite unfair.

either way thanks for the suggestion , I'll most likely do a better build once I do a steam release now.

That's what this break now is for.

I have a problem with this game. I can't access the first page to download it, regardless of the browser.

Capture.JPG Without loging
I can download it in normal or compressed format.

But once logged in, I find myself on a new first page with no access to downloads for the new version of the game.

Could someone post a link for a PC download in normal and/or compressed format (if one exists).
