I always have some problems with devs who aren't devs.
One of the FIRST things a dev does is to actually get familiar with how to develop.
I am working on a porn organizer for viceo clips (YAPO e+) and I am at version 0.7.6. The project begain in 2016.
Version 1.0 is the first version of a project AFTER IT EXITS BETA. Usually, an alpha build is whatever comes below 0.8 or 0.9.

This game would actually be at version 0.1 or even 0.1a. So, 1.0 can never be a first release unless you don't release the project when it is done and out of beta.

Koikatsu makes it pretty easy to put out the images for a VN, as well as a number of school backgrounds. But frankly a lot of the characters produced on the quick don't measure up to what you're capable of creating if you just play the game itself, rather than the stuff that is churned out. One suggestion I'd make to the developer is to modify the iris and pupil for each individual, as things stand from the sample images only the teacher has realistic eyes, the other girls all have that annoying big white dot in the middle of the iris. Your plot and characterization had better be spot on and your models need to be outstanding, otherwise you'll just be another one of the hundreds of games that are being produced in basements, pushed onto patreon in the hopes of raising some cash, and being ignored and abandoned because they don't stand out amongst the competition. That being said, I'm still going to download and play this one because I like school settings, even though I think someone may have gotten too enthusiastic with the breast size sliders....

The developer of this game developed a game, therefore he is a dev. The only debate is the amount experience.

As a dev, you can number the version however TF you want. Now, unless you want to confuse your users, you should at least make sure the numbers increment and you should be consistent with major/minor revision numbering.

Nice work dev. I wish you luck with this game.

Very quick demo. I was hoping our pudgy mc would have a body change after the accident, but no luck. We have a few female students, a not-a-real-family waiting for a patch, and one (probably annoying) male friend. It is a demo so I'm sure the developer is going to make it possible to change the default name for the MC and clean up a few things (please change those soulless white pupils on the eyes). Best of luck with this, I'll pop back in a few updates to see how it is going.
