If you want to receive a service, you have to finance it. The writer/creator doesn't work for just "Thank you" and wants to live and order some services for himself. He will also need to pay for that.
I'm already helping. Between $ 1, $ 5, $ 10. But 25 dollars is a lot of money. After 1.5 months, the update came. I must provide money and support, but is it a mistake to request an update in return? He makes $ 50 for 2 months. but no update is coming.

Many other creators follow the rule of one update each month forced by the patreon subscription. I have seen the posts of many of those creators where they say how hard it is to create under the pressure of time and users who donate. You need creativity and clear mind to produce a good quality content.
If you want a series of constant updates like from a conveyor - go watch "Supernatural" they are productive like there is no tomorrow.

do you have a problem understanding? stop seeing people like yourself. Unfortunately, not everyone is doing well like you. I donate too. I am trying to help. The NCC designer was able to do 2-3 updates in 1 month before that. we did not complain about it. I will pay 25 dollars every month but I will not get updates? why is that ? I think he paid for these conversations. otherwise you wouldn't think like that. lol

I feel for you man.

Normally I don't like people complaining about releases and Patreon, since most of us are pirates on this site and should just be glad to get any version. But since you are a Patron, firstly, I'm glad you are a patron, Honeygames deserves every sent he gets and secondly, I do hear were you are coming from.

So here is the situation (This is for all devs not just Honeygames):
=========================================
If every Patron just pledges $1 then he would sit with a grand total of just over 100$. It's a nice sum, but not enough to make a living. So to solve this, developers introduced tiers with different monthly pledges of say between $1 and $25 per month.

So now the dev needs different rewards for different tiers and this is where release dates comes in. I know you feel hard done by, but it has been clear on his Patreon page that different tiers will get different release dates.

So normally, if a dev have plenty of Patreons, one of the top tier guys decides that he wants to share game here and we get instant releases. Unfortunately for you and the posters in this thread, Honeygame's top Patrons at this stage feel it's better to support the dev, by not sharing the game. As support of the games start growing, the chance that one of his top tier supporters decides to instantly share the game increases and will be shared on day of release, the same as most other top games on this site.

Until that day, the posters on the site just needs to be patient. Even if you are a low tier supporter. I would say in terms of bang for your bucks as a Patreon supporter. Honey Games has written more then 5 games already including Sexduction, King of the beach, The King is back, Snake Thompson, Follower, NCC and more.

Since I started following his games around mid 2019, before the reboot, his updates were always between 2 weeks and one month. His updates are never just 5 minutes and then bam..it's over. His updates always takes a substantial time to play through (A couple of hours for me).

So I can not tell you keep being a patron and yes, there are other games currently with more regular updates like the poster above said, but Honeygames is up there with the best of them in terms of bang for your buck. He intends to release 1.2 in the next couple of days and has been working on that as well during the 1.1 development time. So the following updates will quite soon compared to the last couple of updates due to Corona and the Reboot.

So my advice to you would be to stick with the dev as a patreon, you caught him at the worst part of his dev cycle for this game, but I'm sure the updates will be back to his normal pace going forward.

What are you talking about? What good quality content? There are lots of grainy renders and no story line in this game, and programming is even worse. And you are despising Supernatural, which puts million times effort to their show compared to this game. My advise, if you are going to do virtue signaling, think before writing something. Have a nice day.
Well, that is your opinion, and my opinion is that your opinion sucks.

I happen to think that this game is one of the best on the site. Most other games on here are totally unrealistic in terms of human behaviour and sexual relationships. I mean in what universe does all the girls just want to have sex with one guy. And all the girls are virgins. and somehow magically they will wait around for some loser weak ass player to have sex with.

I get that it's fantasy and I do like playing those as well, but sometimes I want to play a game that is more grounded in reality.

In terms of Supernatural...Wel, personally I don't like that game. I started playing it some time back for a couple of days and it was grindy as hell. Now I don't mind a bit of grind, but that one was over the top for me. Good luck if you like it, but don't expect posters of this thread to agree with you that it's better then NCC.

As far as I'm concerned, this game is 10 times better then Supernatural, but that is just my opinion and opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

Yes, I hear you, but please remember that like you said yourself, he used to roll out 2-3 updates a month. That is an insane amount of work. The reboot has been a tough nut to crack, but he is now past the worst and almost caught up with the story.

Like I said, I can not force you to stay a Patron, but I do think his record speaks for itself.

I mean, my friend, I can help you $ 25. but it doesn't make sense to me because the updates are coming late. Version 1.1 came 1.5 months later, you know that. And every month (if I give support) I will pay this money. I mean, 1 or 2 updates a month will please the supporters.

yes nobody can force me Depending on the frequency of the updates, my donations may increase. but this does not seem to be valid for now. He had 70 supporters 2-3 months ago. now it exceeds 130. maybe not enough, but supporters are waiting for updates faster because they love the game (me too)

Just to be clear, although I help the dev, I am not the dev for the game. (Just want to clear that up if it caused some confusion for anyone).

I can not speak for his Patreon supporters. I have financial issues myself and can not support any creator, so I definitely applaud anyone that supports a creator. You have a right to think what your money is worth and if the creator you support is worth your support. That is your right and I do not have a right to demand what you do with your money.

In the same breath, I view Patreon supporters as supporting a dev, because they like his work and want him to continue to work on his project. Some developers release updates frequently, some take a long time in between updates. Some release a little amount of content, some release a lot of content etc. etc. At the end of the day, it is up to you and other supporters to decide where you want to spend your money and what creators you support. I feel that supporting a dev is voluntary, and by that matrix the dev should not feel obliged to fulfill any and all demands by his patreons. He created a product, and based on that product, some people decides to support his project for future development. That's it. Nothing less nothing more.

In terms of supporting Honeygames. Well like I said his record speaks for itself. I think you would have to go far to find any other dev constantly rolling out the same amount of content he does. Yes, the last couple of updates took longer then normal, but he did explain his situation. It's up to you if you want to continue your support.

If I were to start supporting any dev, Honeygames would be the first on my list.

I loved how that guy has got triggered by me mentioning that Supernatural series. That was hilarious.
One a serious note, this game is not about pixel perfect renders. It is about a non-linear plot and freedom of choice. There are tons of click-click walls of text visual novels with better renders and I feel like this game is way better than those.

Yeah, I remember playing that game and then after a couple of days realized I chose the wrong option regarding the sister at the beginning of the game. I just was not up to re-doing everything just to get the right story with the sister in the game and dropped the game.

In fairness, the game is not too bad, but the amount of grind was insane. I probably would have still played it, if not for my incorrect choice...lol. I felt like restarting the game a few times since then, but could not muster enough energy. NCC is definitely way better for me, but that's just my opinion.

Okay, I saw a heated argument, Let me have my say.
Actually the latest releases have been slower than usual but in line with the timing of the original release. week 10 to 12 are very complex and those who know the game and the various paths of the game know it.
1.2 will be available in a few days and the other releases will be unlocked for minor tier soon.
I asked my top tier and mod of this forum not to release the new versions just released and fortunately my request is usually heard. I think it's a sign of respect towards my top tiers. Each tier still receives its own reward every month.
About grainy renders. I think the quality of the renders has grown and I've rebooted a lot of scenes in the reboot. of course there are still some low quality renderings left and the high quality of the renderings is certainly not one of the strengths of the game. If in the next months I can buy a new pc with a better graphics card to improve the quality of the renders even if I prefer to keep a "personal" style rather than make my renders look like the other games. So there will always be a heavy postwork on the images.
In the end I think that the complexity of the stories and the variety of the girls' personalities are the strengths of my games so that will remain the thing that I will continue to focus on more.
About comparing it to other games. I don't like to compare myself to other games, especially if they are different from mine. I mean: most of the other games in this genre are developed differently. It's like comparing the voices of two singers who do totally different genres but each has the perfect voice to do what they do. like Marvin Gaye or Freddie Mercury.

encouraaged you from the beginning to go ren'py
definetly agree with your statement : try for a few threesomes, maybe between a couple of drunk girlfriends, for a while at least it seems posible to juggle, or whatever 3some works with your story
no need to hit broken dreamers level of looks yet
your strength is the gameplay and game itself
obviously the most enjoyable path would be some form of harem ending: you know big boss having conquered the magazine a porn studio and still a top photographer, maybe get girlfriends to like each other :)

I recently replayed the rebooted version after I went through the older versions. I gotto say, this is one of the games that I enjoyed most here. Lots of content, interesting storylines, really different personalities, and a generally interesting setup. Seriously have to thank the dev for being very active here, sharing thoughts and pretty much also delivering a real game.
