just get used to it. the dev cycle is slow on this game. don't expect anything before the end of the year..and maybe that is being optimistic.

I finally found time to play this new version of the game... I liked old version more.
I see that it is not possible to help Meadow without having sex with her as "reward". I remember from old version, it was possible to do entire blackmail story in friendly manner, but now there is no option to refuse her after confronting Bernie (despite selecting "there is no need" during previous choices when she offered a "reward").
Really don't want anything sexual with her, so is that "reward" dependent on stats? Will it help if I lower stats and relations with her in save editor, or I need to replay and ignore her from the beginning in order to avoid sex with her?
Also, which other routes are cut off due to "simplification"? I'm pretty picky when it comes to girls, so don't want to fall into this "trap" again

Sorry, I was so busy and immersed in the development of the game that I completely forgot to post updates. I kept telling myself, "I'll do it later," "I'll finish this first and then I'll do it," and suddenly three weeks passed.
Anyway, the game is moving forward.
And I’m really happy about it. Every new event I create brings me new satisfaction. The way, in this rebuild, the characters can interact and connect with each other gives me enormous satisfaction. The way I’m blending the main storylines of the main characters with the side stories of the secondary characters is naturally opening up a wide range of scenarios, making the game much more immersive and giving almost infinite choices to the player, who can practically craft a personal plot.
Of course, this will become even clearer as the story progresses, but starting from week 4 and especially in week 5, the city of New Coral and its inhabitants are beginning to have their own depth and life, and the characters are becoming more "unique" and "well-developed."
At the moment, I’ve created about 40% of the new release, maybe a bit more, and I’m moving forward at a decent pace. I’m aiming to release the game by early December—let’s see if I can stick to the deadline.
I’m attaching a couple of images while trying not to spoil too much because I want to maintain the surprise effect for when the game is released.
In the meantime, thank you all for the support and feedback. Feel free to send me your thoughts about the game, what you like and what you don’t. It’s even better if you share them publicly so that a discussion can emerge, as I always learn a lot from these exchanges.

Ps. If you wanna see the remaining 4 pics you can go check HGs patreon yourself. Cheers

Does Chapter 1 actually exist anymore? I downloaded 1.55 which I guess is an older version of Ch2, and it has a recap where the MC is trying to catch you up, but he's talking about random people and events that I assume are from Ch1. I didn't wanna start in the middle..
1.55 is the beginning - at the start it makes some references to the previous game: Follower.

Can someone fill me in on what's going on? I downloaded both versions, S 2 and 1.55. I just started S 2 and it gives me the option to watch the intro or not but both choices are the same, both take me straight to Riley, while in 1.55 there is a flashback to the previous game. Then, S 2 has no music or sound, at all. And finally, the stats are bugged, Rebecca stats are up in the corner at all times, along with the stats of whoever I'm speaking with.

So do I got it wrong, is 1.55 the new version or is S2 just that bad? I've seen people complaining about content being cut from S2 but not about stuff like this, especially I've seen no one complaining they have no music in their game.

really weird, considering music is THE most important thing in any decent adult game.:LUL:
#nomusic_nofap

v1.55 is actual seson 2 (if you consider previous game (follower) as the season 1 ofc), "season 2" aka rework of the revamped rework is the last iteration of this game - it has (almost) all bugs previous iterations had, while it introduces some fresh new bugs. and all that with 10% (or less) of content 1.55 has.

the choice (for playing one or another) is onlky yours:HideThePain:

Thanks.

I was trying to keep an open mind to the "better" version as the developer says, but its just lacking in every department. "Simpler" is probably the better term. I guess his own game got too complicated for him and he needed to simplify it.

Anyway, the music did eventually show up, but the game is just bad I'm sorry. The first version was actually a decent game and one of my favorites despite it having some issues.

Sorry for the Late Update

Sorry for the lack of updates, but don’t worry—I’m still working hard on the game.
I’m doing my best to stick to the timeline I set for myself, but unfortunately, there will be some delays (I can already hear the jokes on various forums… fair enough).
The truth is, as usual, I get carried away, and I’m fully implementing features I initially planned to introduce more gradually in future releases. I won’t spoil anything yet, but these features will be very fun and will draw you even deeper into the universe of New Coral City.
Additionally, the division of the main character paths is progressing very well, but naturally, it takes time.
Let me explain. One of the main reasons for the reboot was the multitude of storylines that weren’t fully fleshed out and the difficulty of keeping everything coherent. On the one hand, I wanted to simplify some choices and make it more intuitive for players to take one path or another. On the other hand, I didn’t want to sacrifice the depth of the game or its freedom of choice.
For example, take everything involving Ashley and Tatianna. In the original version, Tatianna’s storyline was always tied to Ashley’s, but it was never clear or definitive. In Week 5, many things will be clarified, and the storylines with these two girls will immediately take a clear direction (all possibilities will still be developed, of course). While before, scenarios were created by overlapping a multitude of variables, there will now be a primary variable that dictates the scenario with a specific character. This will, of course, slightly reduce freedom but will guarantee greater consistency in the storylines (and, most importantly, make my job easier when creating dialogues and events).
(The same work being done for Tatianna and Ashley in Week 5 is also being applied to Michelle, Madelyne, Andrea, Meadow, Yvette, Maud, Kirsten, and Martina. To a lesser extent, this also applies to Zoe and MJ, though with more possibilities left open for them.) (This allow you to not meet the girls you're not interested in...)
I’m continuing to develop the "mini-stories," which might be particularly interesting for fans of harem games. These are storylines that unfold over a few weeks and are often self-contained. (Though I’m not ruling out the possibility of some characters returning later.) For example, after Tera (introduced earlier, if you chose her for the photoshoot—you’ll see her again in the future), Jeannie (whose storyline was hinted at in Week 4 and will conclude within a few weeks), and Carla (the French girl at Harley’s place—you’ll see her in Week 5 before she returns to France with her boyfriend), there will be new surprises in Week 5.
There will also be an important event you can attend if you choose to: the concert at the Roadhouse Pub. This could introduce you to some characters who might be useful later and deepen your relationships with existing characters.
Additionally, what’s happening at Elita Magazine is evolving significantly—from your relationships with your colleagues to your role within the editorial team. The network of connections you build within the game will influence your career, which, in turn, will affect your network.
I know, it all sounds complex (and it is), but the goal is to make it enjoyable and to offer gameplay experiences that become increasingly diverse as the weeks progress. As always, there are no right or wrong choices—just decisions that lead to specific consequences and others that lead to different ones.
I’ll leave you with a couple of preview renders and hope not to let so much time pass before the next update.
