Sorry for the Late Update

Sorry for the lack of updates, but don’t worry—I’m still working hard on the game.
I’m doing my best to stick to the timeline I set for myself, but unfortunately, there will be some delays (I can already hear the jokes on various forums… fair enough).
The truth is, as usual, I get carried away, and I’m fully implementing features I initially planned to introduce more gradually in future releases. I won’t spoil anything yet, but these features will be very fun and will draw you even deeper into the universe of New Coral City.
Additionally, the division of the main character paths is progressing very well, but naturally, it takes time.
Let me explain. One of the main reasons for the reboot was the multitude of storylines that weren’t fully fleshed out and the difficulty of keeping everything coherent. On the one hand, I wanted to simplify some choices and make it more intuitive for players to take one path or another. On the other hand, I didn’t want to sacrifice the depth of the game or its freedom of choice.
For example, take everything involving Ashley and Tatianna. In the original version, Tatianna’s storyline was always tied to Ashley’s, but it was never clear or definitive. In Week 5, many things will be clarified, and the storylines with these two girls will immediately take a clear direction (all possibilities will still be developed, of course). While before, scenarios were created by overlapping a multitude of variables, there will now be a primary variable that dictates the scenario with a specific character. This will, of course, slightly reduce freedom but will guarantee greater consistency in the storylines (and, most importantly, make my job easier when creating dialogues and events).
(The same work being done for Tatianna and Ashley in Week 5 is also being applied to Michelle, Madelyne, Andrea, Meadow, Yvette, Maud, Kirsten, and Martina. To a lesser extent, this also applies to Zoe and MJ, though with more possibilities left open for them.) (This allow you to not meet the girls you're not interested in...)
I’m continuing to develop the "mini-stories," which might be particularly interesting for fans of harem games. These are storylines that unfold over a few weeks and are often self-contained. (Though I’m not ruling out the possibility of some characters returning later.) For example, after Tera (introduced earlier, if you chose her for the photoshoot—you’ll see her again in the future), Jeannie (whose storyline was hinted at in Week 4 and will conclude within a few weeks), and Carla (the French girl at Harley’s place—you’ll see her in Week 5 before she returns to France with her boyfriend), there will be new surprises in Week 5.
There will also be an important event you can attend if you choose to: the concert at the Roadhouse Pub. This could introduce you to some characters who might be useful later and deepen your relationships with existing characters.
Additionally, what’s happening at Elita Magazine is evolving significantly—from your relationships with your colleagues to your role within the editorial team. The network of connections you build within the game will influence your career, which, in turn, will affect your network.
I know, it all sounds complex (and it is), but the goal is to make it enjoyable and to offer gameplay experiences that become increasingly diverse as the weeks progress. As always, there are no right or wrong choices—just decisions that lead to specific consequences and others that lead to different ones.
I’ll leave you with a couple of preview renders and hope not to let so much time pass before the next update.
