Decided to start over as I couldn't separate my memories of the rework and original version and go through trying to keep an eye on variables and stuff so I don't mess up. I forgot that they use the same save directory for some reason. I don't want to ditch my saves from the old version but it means it does get cluttered.
Still loadsa spelling errors throughout, I was tempted to try to document them all but it's just too many. Also sentences starting without a capital. Wrong portraits for characters are used sometimes. I think the MC spoke in non-English when talking to himself once too. I wondered why Connor and Tatianna had 0 relationship the first time you meet them, it's because it makes a variable called tatiannaconnorrelrel that's 100, which is 1 too many 'rel's on the end. Then later just sets the right one to 70 when you meet hem in the sex shop.
I hope Maya isn't a one time thing just to get to add the trans tag, she's my favourite new addition. Some of the characters react badly when you talk about her, I'm surprised how close-minded some of them are. I also don't get why jerking her off give you points towards Maud domming you, it's got nothing to do with her if you like Maya / dickgirls. She's the ultimate tag team partner, I've been trying to share girls with David since the start (even though I don't really like him, just trying to be a bro) and getting nothing (well other than calling him once when Harley was down, but he didn't pick up). Maya would be the perfect tag-team partner - an extra dick and an extra hot girl all in one.
Speaking of partners, I was disappointed with the first Maud partner party. I've been working hard to not let her dom the MC but also not being a dick to her, and... you just fuck Yvette in front of her, could be doing that somewhere else, doesn't really need a sex party for that. I didn't date Yvette specifically because I thought it'd mess things up there but still nothing crazy happening.
I mentioned Harley earlier too, man you keep getting cockblocked with her by sleep. Can't avoid the MC falling asleep one night with her, and now twice Harley has crashed out. I still love her, and hope she'll help make Michelle a partygirl drug addict again but damn.
I was torn on Tatiana vs Ashley... from one of the dev posts it sounds like it's an either or. They've both got incredible bodies. Ashely is kinda a boring person though, but I still remember Tati never putting out in the original no matter how many hoops you jumped through for her and that sours me to her, haha. Ultimately I chose to swerve Ashely so I could try for Tati this time, even if she's less ripped, as we got to fuck Ashley before. I hope it pays off.
I was happy to see Athena pop back up at the end there. She's got a real unique look so I was hoping she wasn't a one and done side character. So many different girls int eh game, hard to know when/if some of the more minor ones will get content. There was some hot gothy ladies at the gig in the divebar I'd like to see again too but don't hold out much hope for.
Rough edges and unfulfilled dreams aside, I was really happy to see this carrying on, I always enjoy playing NCC and seeing it get more fleshed out and developed and will look forward to the next instalment.
I tried to have a look and for some reason despite it being day 16, those scenes are from day 27. So clearly something earlier on kicks you to the wrong day and so everything goes screwy.
Sadly my latest save before all that was like day 13 or something, so I played back through carefully tracking the label, aaaaaand, this time day 16 started properly. There was a different Meadow convo in the morning so I think it happened sometime at the end of day 15 / start of day 16. No random day 27 stuff this time around so no idea what happened before but somehow holding down ctrl fixed it, haha (or maybe I made a different choice along the way).

Yeah this bug persists even in the new "fixed" version... day "16" in the club, you can't avoid going to the pusher, then it exits (incorrectly) to the sex shop buy menu, and if you try to exit outta that then the game just quits to menu.

I really think a complete New Coral City remake could be the best porn game ever, for my personal taste.

Had same problem. Make old and new versions to have different directories. Leave default for new version since it's ongoing and change one of the old.
Go into old version of NCC, "1.5.5/game". Once there, find file named "options", open it with notepad and find line - define config.save_directory = "NCC-1565603448" change name of the destination folder into "NCCold-1565603448" or whatever, then go into user/appdata/roaming/renpy and rename folder with saves to match name you set in script. Or create new folder with that name and copy/paste your old saves there.

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback. Over the next few days, I’ll try to fix the imperfections that are still present in the game—as you know, it’s a very complex game, and it’s easy for something to slip through even with all the attention I put into it. That said, I believe the latest weeks of gameplay are definitely better in that regard.
Maya is a side character—I do have a few more events like that in mind for her, but they’ll be spaced out over time. Still, from what I’ve gathered, I’m pretty sure those events will be ones you’ll really enjoy.
A quick note about Maud’s parties: they can unfold in many different ways depending on a large number of variables. That specific party (from the latest week) is influenced by several variables related to both Maud and Yvette. There are also branching questions that shape how it plays out. I’ve checked the variables multiple times to ensure that all scenarios have roughly the same chances of being triggered. Of course, given how many paths there are (as you can tell by looking at the code or the image folder), even small differences can land you in one outcome or another.
The reason for so many possible scenarios—ones that are necessarily close together in terms of output—is due to the overall structure of the game. That event is a key turning point for your relationships with both Maud and Yvette, so I had to keep all possible outcomes open.
I’m drawing Harley’s story out a bit more intentionally (though you can already meet her a couple of times in the pub bathrooms during the early weeks), because I want a specific event to happen before continuing her storyline. Regarding Harley/Michelle—I won’t spoil anything.
Athena is a new addition in this edition of the game, and like Maya, I don’t think she’ll be a major character—but there will definitely be chances to do things with her. I’ve already planned a couple of events, but of course they’ll take time and will happen gradually over the coming weeks.
You didn’t mention Mirella—so I don’t know if that’s because you don’t like her or because you haven’t triggered her yet. Several people have told me they really liked the scene with her.

Some of the MC’s choices are restricted based on stats.
There’s a violence stat that depends on the MC’s behavior up to that point in the game—if the character has always been a pacifist, it’s likely you won’t be able to actively take part in the fight.
(Yes, the game really tracks a lot of things—that’s why it takes me so long to make, but hey, I’m working on it… even right now!)

Okay I checked the image folder, damn. DPing Yvette with Maud would have been much better and more in line with what I was hoping for... no idea why I didn't get it when I've been trying to be as partner focused with Maud as possible, I might have to go back and see if I can wangle things to shift the path to that one.

I did get her (that's the redhead you overhear talking about pegging, right?). I'm kinda waiting to see how stuff plays out with her, we've only gotten the once scene (unless I messed something up) and it was fairly vanilla/conventional... but she seems to be freaky so I'm waiting to see what kind of paths she gets.
