That isn't a personal attack bro it's an opinion :ROFLMAO:.

I haven't played the game in a while so I have no idea how much of an exaggeration it is to say the update is short or not but this is a pirate forum, in general the people commenting are probably not going to have the nicest things to say and or more likely to voice their displeasure.

It sounds to me like you'd be better off not reading comments on here if it effects you that much. People have expectations, if they feel like they aren't met naturally they would be upset even if you perceive it to be them "personally attacking you" they are just voicing their opinion. You chose how to take something, it's all perspective. Same comment could be viewed positively that people are willing to wait an entire year for an update and are sad that it was short because they like the game.

My advice would be to avoid engaging in it, it's obvious that it's not beneficial for you to do so. Or reframe the way you look at it. Just my two cents.
No, I don’t feel personally attacked by a comment like that.
I just think I should be free to tell that person to “shut the f up,” since what they wrote is objectively not true.
If a “shut the f up” is considered a personal attack, then maybe the “pirates” (as you call them) are way more sensitive than I expected. So in my opinion, if a “shut the f up” can be flagged as a personal attack and removed, then saying “1 year of development for 5 minutes of content” should also be considered a personal attack (not to mention a lie).

Other than that, I don’t really care. I was just surprised that my post got deleted and found it pretty ridiculous.

I’ll survive just fine.

Find it funny reading this thread people not happy with update times and content added yet I'm sat here thinking to myself its going to be ages if not years till I'm able to do what i want as my main goal in this game. I mostly take each update as it comes enjoy what's been added then move on to something else while waiting for the next one.

Basically me with most games very few games I actually feel any real disappointment because of the size of the update with the time it took cause I'm pretty understanding when it comes to these games taking a long time

Sure bro, I agree you should be able to say whatever you want.

Objectively though telling someone to shut the fuck up is definitely closer to a personal attack than someone making a comment not personally directed but about the game exaggerating about the update being short. :ROFLMAO:

Not that it matters though, my comment was me more or less tryna look out for your mental well being. I understand why you would be frustrated.

My original point stands, I think it's better to not even engage or put yourself through reading negative shit, they are in fact pirates, it is a pirate site. Usually that tends to attract people that complain about everything even if they aren't paying. I only pay for updates if I am personally interested in the content for that one, to me this site is a way to find games.

I’ve got one bad news and one good news.
But the bad news isn’t that bad — and the good one is actually really good.
So, the bad news first: the release of Week 6 is going to take a bit longer (probably about a month — I’m almost there).
But trust me, the delay is totally justified… and I think you’ll end up being happy about the reason why.
For a while now, I’ve been trying to figure out how to release updates faster.
The problem was the game’s weekly structure — that idea of giving players as much freedom as possible to decide which girls to meet, and when.
Well, starting from Week 7, things will work a bit differently.
You’ll still be able to choose who to spend time with, but the when will be more structured. Let me explain.
After releasing Week 6, I’ll move forward with a new approach:
future releases will each cover one single in-game day (don’t worry — a single day in this game means a lot of things happening).
That should allow me to release maybe even one new update per month, or close to that.
Before, that was impossible.
By Monday, I had to already prepare every storyline, every dialogue, every possible event and scene for all the girls MC could call during the week.
That system turned out to be counter-productive — it took forever to balance every variable, check all the branches, and make sure dialogue changed depending on what day you met someone (Monday vs Thursday could trigger totally different interactions).
Managing all that across a full week, constantly backtracking to keep everything consistent, became a massive workload.
That’s not going to be the case anymore.
Events will now be split in a different way.
As you already saw in Week 5 (and will see again in Week 6), there’ll be more major crossover events — like the Roadhouse concert or Maud’s parties — and most evenings will already be packed.
The “girlfriend” moments will still exist, but they’ll be integrated more naturally into each storyline instead of being isolated free-time choices.
I’ll talk more about that when we get there — for now I just wanted to explain what’s causing the delay:
I’m reworking the Saturday and Sunday events of Week 6 to make sure everything lines up perfectly with the new structure for Week 7 and beyond.
I also had to redistribute some future storylines to keep the pacing balanced across each day.
Honestly, it’s been a huge relief.
Every time I start a new release I’m super motivated, but by the time I reach Friday I’m mentally exhausted — Saturday and Sunday always turn into a nightmare to code because I have to carry over all the previous work.
This new system will make development lighter and way more enjoyable for me, and — most importantly — it’ll mean much shorter waits between releases for you.
It should also help keep everyone more hyped about the story’s progress.
On top of that, it’ll finally be easier for me to talk about upcoming content.
In the past months I’ve mentioned lots of storyline details that you probably don’t even remember — events I coded four months ago that you’ll only see next month.
That makes it hard to get real-time feedback from you, which is something I’ve been missing a lot.
So yeah — that’s the full picture.
Here are a couple new renders while you wait, and I just ask for a little more patience.
Week 6 is going to be wild, and after that, everything will move much more smoothly.

Hey everyone,
I’ve pretty much finished writing the new week.
So in the next few days I’ll be able to send the build to the bug fixers (I just need to finish converting and post-working the images).
While they’re testing, I’ll work on polishing a few final details — things like the stat panels, the music, and a new feature I want to tell you about.
In Week 6, there will be daily routines, a set of small actions that Y performs.
In the morning, you’ll get to pick the music and decide whether to text the girl you spent the previous night with — to either deepen or ignore that connection.
In the afternoon, usually before the evening events, when Y gets back home there’s the home event — basically what he can do before going out.
And here, the options are quite varied.
For example, you can check social media.
I’ve completely reworked this section to make it smoother and less tied to the old follow/like mechanics.
Now it’s more of a scrolling feed of images posted by other characters — useful to understand the different groups and what’s happening outside Y’s own storyline.
You can skip it if you want; if you do, when you come back you’ll first see the older posts until you catch up with your current timeline.
Then, as you know, there’s more: you’ll be able to read books or watch movies or documentaries.
These will improve Y’s knowledge in different fields — depending on what you choose — and they’ll also expand the world with new secondary figures (TV hosts, actors, experts, etc.).
Don’t worry, these are mostly background characters or small cameos that help build context and subplots around sports, fashion, cinema, and other social circles you’ll explore through events.
There’s also the adult content section, where you’ll be able to visit sites featuring Pinky, Rain, Red Tyner, Mark, and others — with new scenes added every week.
I know it’s not an essential feature, and some of you probably think I should focus only on the main storyline — but trust me, the story gets way more immersive and alive when all these worlds start to intertwine.
So, I’m diving back into work to get the build ready as soon as possible — and once it’s out, I’ll start developing Week 7, using the new day-by-day format I mentioned before (I’ll go into more detail about that in an upcoming post).

So, Looked back over last few pages, is there going to be no Melissa progression at all dev? Just haven't seen her mentioned at all in any dev logs.

I like a lot of the girls, but she is arguably my favorite, and I just want some romance and progression with her. Will there be dev, or will I just be let down again, after the way her path is in general thus far.

Just like in the original version, Melissa’s storyline is long and runs from the very beginning of the game all the way to the end.
What you’ve seen so far is only the opening arc: right now we’re at the point where it’s clear she’s not giving exclusivity to anyone (in the last event you played, she basically drops David to spend the night with Jeff).

One thing that will change compared to the past is David’s attitude.
In the old version, if Y had sex with Melissa, it would basically break the friendship with David.
That’s not going to happen anymore — this makes it much easier to maintain a good relationship with David, which can be very useful in the bigger picture.

Back to Melissa: just like in the original version, a few things still need to happen before you can reach anything romantic with her.
In the upcoming release you’ll mostly see “context-building” events, but the first potential sexual approaches with her are very close.
I’ve actually moved them up quite a bit compared to the original game, where they happened around Week 10.

So for now, no immediate progression — but be patient.
It will be worth it: her storyline is deeper and more nuanced than before.
