I really miss Cursed.
There are a number, many of which can be found using this site. But it also depends what aspect you are looking for.
Female protagonist, Transformation, Simulation/Management, Text Based, ETC.
Corruption of Champions, Degrees of Lewdity, Good Girl Gone Bad, Lilith's Throne, Trap Quest, Girl Life, Life Play, Hard Times in Hornstown, and Accidental Woman to name an obvious few.
TfGames also has lists that contains many, most seem to be abandoned or on hold though.
Calling Accidental Woman shit while calling Newlife the best, in my opinion is a falsehood. Just comparing their monthly updates side by side is pretty stark. However Accidental Woman also has a development plan, blog updates about recent progress and has only been supported for half the time Newlife has.
Even so, both still lack content yet is seems clear which one is moving towards its potential.

I would say avoid the genre since updates are wholly dependent on the team working on it. Some are fast and others hit roadblocks called internal squabbling over who does which task on a community project.

IMO the best game is probably Girl Life. The qsp ui is horribly unintuitive but it has a lot of content. It is very grindy, but you can use the cheat menu to turn off hunger/thirst.

The best game is modded sims 4, it's literally better than newlife in every aspects. But you have to invest a certain amount of time in modding the game properly.
Really? Is there any dialogue at all regarding events? Slowly seeing stats go up or down and then randomly seeing an NPC fucking another NPC (Do you even have any influence at all? I don't know because I never played modded) without any backstory (Which is my impression of what it would be) doesn't seem "better than newlife in every aspect".
Then again I have been surprised with modding communities before so I wouldn't say it's not possible (perhaps even relatively easy, but just seems so "un-like" sims), but I am definitely skeptical

Yeah, there are plenty of other games with pregnancy and female protagonists out there, but many of them don't go too deep on events, its mostly just porn. Its one of the reasons I like text based games, since their focus is not the visual they have to get creative. I see, I thought as much. And you're right on point regarding "having to get creative". Just showing genitalia interacting really is as shallow as it gets, no matter how pretty one might make it look. There's so much more to it than that; the story behind the characters, how they get to that point (Slowly corrupting/falling in love) and the consequences of it all. It would really surprise me if The Sims 4 has mods (right now) that can provide that kind of level.

Funny enough 90% of the game was finished in the first year. And for more than 1.5k per month you get nothing but bug fixing for 4 years. If that doesnt scream scammer I dont know what will. You dont get rich by working hard. You get rich by stealing from others.Coincidentally 2017 is when he finally started losing patreons and stopped displaying his monthly earnings altogether.
I've been following this game since 2015 (at one point I was even supporting the $20 tier) and the fact that you still can't even have a change of job speaks wonders. The core mechanics and weekly layout have failed to receive any substantial updates whilst every update seems to consist of once a play-through scenes that can only be achieved if you met an arbitrary number of traits (which really means SO needs to write less as they don't need to factor in every trait combo). Personally I also think its rather greedy that SO wants to not only earn money via Patreon but also work a full time job, his patreon earnings when they were last displayed were well above average for a UK citizen when you factor in patreon cut/tax etc.
Find it funny that she could take time to wish people happy new year twice and complain about tax when she literally being a parasite to her supporter. The level of awareness that she have.

He's gonna show up eventually and say he got the corona virus and was really screwed up because of his existing health issues but somehow managed to recover.
In the meantime he can forget about the game for a bit again while still milking his patreons. When he returns he also gets a slow start cause he will still be recovering.

Well all of his patrons and fans of the game DISAGREE with his choices and the pace of development so CLEARLY there is something very wrong with his choices huh? Perhaps he should make different choices?

Well that's funny all people disagree about his choices and yet they pay him. The people who pay decided they want more pregnancy content and well he added some, maybe not much but looking at the amount of paying patrons not changing much lately it seems they are content. And for the rest of the fanbase, they might show him how they think he should work but he doesn't really have to care about their wishes.
