I feel like I messed up my game somehow? i was doing really well, have kept her glory down no problem and generating resources fine and progressing through her corruption fine, got to the second stage after where the goons have a chance of beating you each time you visit an area. I was transitioning my deck to a Sexual/whore deck but now no matter how many times i visit places the event to give sexual/whore cards do not show up no matter what, I have been visiting areas loads upon load of times, like a serious amount but no matter what I cant have the event to give me the sex/whore cards? Is this a bug? does the game just put you in this state for some reason?

When you were in battle if there's work point that MC have at the end of the battle there's a textbox showing what to convert, so how do you hide that text box? Im playing in android btw

It seems possible for this game to replace the v0.09 data by v0.11 data and run the v0.09 Linux binary and get the v0.11 content. Wonder whether this also works for Mac..

I tried something similar for mac, but I don't own a mac so this is untested, however since the linux version seems to work the mac version might as well.

I actually agree. I love the game but as it progresses, the grind means nothing and it's too much. There should be a mechanic integrated to the game that allowed us to skip battles to a degree, some kind of auto mechanic. At some point Cassandra is completely defeated but we have to keep fighting her... once and again and again... I'd say it makes no sense but it actually fits the theme of the game of humilliation. Not that I like that part. Just a stupid fact.

Still think this is one of the best games in its genre.

I assumed her cards would get weaker the more I progressed in the blackmail, but it turns out she gets STRONGER.
So now I think I can never beat her and need to restart the game. EDIT: OKAY ! Nevermind, only one of those got stronger with blackmail progress. That's neat actually, made me go "oh fuck, that backfired...". Still, it can feel rough at the start when you're not ready to tackle her current form and she gets STRONGER instead of weaker

Fun concept overall ! But hard to master at first even having played a lot of deckbuilders.

This game is frustrating to no end. The fact that you can't replenish nergy in any way during the battle is pretty stupid because you just end up throwing the rounds even if you have max possible enrgy of 200.

Throwing the rounds is part of the strategy, though. The battles are winnable to the degree that it becomes quite easy in the mid-to-late game.

You're going about the game all wrong. Like the other guy said, you're meant to throw the rounds at the start. You need to let her win while mitigating as much work and glory she gains as possible. By throwing early, you'll have plenty of energy to spare, which you'll need to spend building up resources for better cards and blackmail. Once you start blackmailing her, most of her cards will gradually get weaker. During midgame, some of her cards will upgrade to compensate for her weakened deck. You'll need to have a deck capable zeroing her work by this point. Same strats until you have a deck that's able to consistently win.

Honestly, I agree the game isn't well-balanced, but kinda in the other direction than being rigged against the player. After I spent some time working out in the gym and had more energy to spend (and used it judiciously in locations like the gym where some events would give me energy back), I fell into a rhythm where much more of the game was spent grinding in between card battles than it was in the actual "game." Once you reach that critical mass (and if you have the patience to stay in the pocket there), you'll probably have a much easier time winning the card battles, but you might not even need to, because you can generate so many points of blackmail and glory or whatever outside of the duels.
