As someone who's on that thread, I recommend holding off on downloading anything for a few days because of how close we are to the next update which happens at the end of the month. I suspect it'll go live tomorrow rather than on the 30'th.

Step 1. Download the mod
Step 2. Go to your Night of Revenge folder, and click on the "BepInEx" folder.
Step 3. Once you're in the "BepInEx" folder, find and click on the "plugins" folder.
Step 4. Once you're in the "plugins" folder, take the file called "NoREroMod.dll" from the mod folder that you downloaded during step 1, and put it in the aforementioned "plugins" folder.
In the mod folder that you downloaded during step 1, there's also a file called "NoREroMod_README.md". You can safely ignore it.
Step 5. Play the game. This will create the config file for the mod.
If you want to change the mod's settings:
Step 1. Go to your Night of Revenge folder, and click on the "BepInEx" folder.
Step 2. Once you're in the "BepInEx" folder, find and click on the "config" folder.
Step 3. Once you're in the "config" folder, find and click on the file called "NoREroMod". This is the config file for the mod.
Now the "NoREroMod" config file should be open, just like any other text document.
Step 4. Change the settings of the mod to your liking. After you're done, just close the file using the big "X" button.
If you're not sure what the setting that you're changing does, maybe it's better not to touch it for now.

Thanks man, i'm still trying to get used to the controls (and figuring the weird struggle mecanic that doesnt seem to work) but this helped!
Same, once i interact with the prompt the game just doesnt respond anymore and no matter which key i press nothing happens. Would be super happy if someone knew what to do.

Its well known bug, search in my comments or on this thread for fix, but in short, you have to download correct version of the game, your version literally only have that one place bugged bcz of missing assets in one of game data folder.

There's an entire section on the first page that literally says "bug fixed", how are you all so blind?!
Sometimes it gets so bad that you see complaints about this bug immediately next to a message pointing out the fix.

Well I survived the menu controls, but I think I got softlocked when I got to the end of the first area. I interacted with a small glowing thing and the game got stuck. The problems really compound with this one which is a shame because if it worked without crashing I really think it could be one of my all time favourites.

well, the materials used to create the runes could have been corrupted with dark magic by someone to make her weaker if aroused.

hey bgtbb, one quick question since it seems to me that you are quite knowlediable with the game and concerned files. Is there a way to adjust some base stats of the enemy by changing some file logs myself? Cant find a mod, and am not a programer myself, but would like to spice things up.
Any reply to this concern would be much appreciated by me! Wish you best.

Enemy stats are stored in the .dll files. If your comfortable digging around in the files, you can use a tool like dnspy to edit the `NightofRevenge_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll` to change a lot of the base stats.
I would ask in the discord if you need more help. There are already a few guides on how to do that there.
I was looking some of the answers and seems like there is 2 endings possible. So... does anyone know what are the conditions to get each??? (I gathered that doing a virgin run doesn't seem to affect anything)

You need to use your eyes and notice that there's an entire section of downloads on the first page called "bug fixed", and those don't have the "I interacted with a small glowing thing and the game got stuck" bug.

By finding and saving girls during the course of the game, you gain karma points. After you defeat the final boss, you're given a choice, and if you have enough karma points, you can choose a different answer and get a second ending.
