I'm not sure how hard it is to mod that engine, but unity is easily moddable by anyone with enough motivation. Tho adult scenes still needs to be redraw from scratch at some point which costs either money or time and requires a talent. And we also have early versions of NoR which have some scenes without censorship, unless they changed a lot it will be less work to reintroduce them.
I'm not excluding that NoR can explode on the West market and someone actually will publish it without censorship and proper translation, nobody knows to be fair, the game is solid even as a SFW project, exclude nudity and h-scenes it plays pretty well and has a good balance between souls-like and sideview action sidescroller.
So, it seems, more and more sources appear to quote 29th as release day, what means at least two days to beat the game before NNN starts.
Actually no, that what I captured 1 hour ago, guess Dlsite about to do some dumb shit again so they change the date back

I did just that before writing my response...even used the cursed Edge to check it on a different browser
But I see that it is in fact showing 29th but only on a product list for Dlis. On product page it is still the good ol' middle of october. Hard to say what it means but it's hardly anything concrete and more like an automated date for simple "fuck off, we're still checking".
EDIT:
It seems Dlis is actually done with shit (I didn't notice the post on Ci-En) and this date is in fact a very unsure release date but it might change if the fuckers from DLsite think of something else.

I'm gonna guess some of you read the post D-LIS made. If you don't know Japanese I'll summarize it for you in English;

-DLSITE is reviewing the game now. It's up to them whether to accept it as is or not.

That's been the storyline for the last week or so, at this point it's up to the store if he can sell it this week or not. regardless of the outcome the man is gonna shed some tears ether in joy or frustration

MTL is your best bet, an actual English patch will take very long, probably.

Looking at things like that in other games of that kind, my bet is that the official translation will be MTL anyway, at least at first.

If anyone has the autotranslation from 0.54, they can still reuse it for the full release. DeepL has a free 30 day trial so anyone can register, grab the api key, plug it into bepinex, and get decent MTL compared to google's tl.
