Pretty good start.
One thing I've noticed is that a lot of the women make a very bitchy/caustic/sarcastic first impression. The MC gets talked down to a lot. Which is fine if that's what those characters are going to be going forward but I can already tell they are going to soften up/balance out after a while. I guess I'm just appealing to you to consider the power of a first impression because it can take a lot of work to overcome it once established. You can save yourself the work of rehabilitating these characters by presenting them more authentically from the beginning.
I'll use Kim as an example. Does she even like the MC at all? The backstory he shares about her presents her in a very favorable light but the interactions with her have not reflected that at all. I understand that jealousy has been suggested as a reason but it still feels like too much. Her sarcasm and digs at the MC don't come off as joking or teasing. It fails at being playful banter.
If you make a character too unlikeable early, you risk having the player not want to go along with being friendly/sympathetic to them later.
Thank you for your feedback.
Kim and MC have a shared past, which will be revealed later in the story. She is a lawyer, and as such, she may have some professional characteristics such as cynicism and a thick skin. Dana treats everyone like dirt if they are lower in social status than her. Mercy can sometimes be rude, but deep down, she has the same little rebellious side that her sister Rosy has now. It seems that everyone LI else treats MC quite well.
Regarding the first impression, it is based on appearance rather than character. Please take the time to read through this topic carefully. I have tried to portray Tasha as sweet and calm, but some people have already commented that she looks ugly. Her sweet personality will not change that impression.
Additionally, I do not include MC's inner thoughts about whether he likes or dislikes a particular LI, as the player will make that decision. It would be confusing to write that the MC likes one LI, only for the player not to agree with that choice.
