Game development
I’m done implementing the pony fail-state, made the new maps required for V0.27.1 and also wrote + implemented the introductory hook into the serving events: It’s been a productive three days and I’m quite pleased with the progress, even getting a little bit ahead in the schedule and using that “extra time” to make a small little addition to the pony fail-state scene: Adding 4 (small) POV images when Kathleen’s (or rather pony twenty/seven) making the rounds in the circular walking pen. ^^
I’ve also made the stable maps for the first serving task, though the place is still a bit empty without all those pretty pony-girls to liven up the place. Luckily this is a temporary problem since make those pony-girl sprites is on the schedule for this Friday, right after the maid-in-training sprites on Thursday. If all goes well the teasers of Sunday should show off a much more filled stables, with maybe already even a few of the events planned for the first serving task (taking care of those pony-girls. ;3
Animation side-project
On the animation front; I’m about done with compositing the frames themselves, planning to release the animation this weekend for Tier III: I’m quite happy as to how it turned out in the end. It has a few errors and mistakes; small (but important!) things like missing a slight bob of the doll’s upper body when the guy thrusts, or a little bit too much randomness in the guys tempo when he’s moving his hips. But it’s my first ever animation of this length and scale, so I’ve got absolutely no regrets in making it.
Might be a while before I tackle another animation project though; since I want to do some more smaller (and quicker) short sequences first. Plus I’m also cooking up something else big behind the scenes… which I’ll be revealing later this month; talk about blue-balling you guys. >;3
Anyhow the animation will also follow a bit of a “special” (quicker) release schedule this time around: First releasing for Tier III, 2 days after that for Tier II, and finally 2 days after that for Tier I. Reason for this is that it’’ my first ever “big” animation project and I want that to be special, or at least kinda feel like it.
So long story short: Expect the animation project to drop somewhere this weekend for Tier III! .
