the final Rags version is now out, finally it is over. Now he will hopefully do the twine version full time.

Fulminato I think in this particular case you are confused by the wording: that one was not about "last RAGS update ever", it was "last RAGS major release", or you could say - a version bump. From the very beginning, there was intent to release a bugfix update to that before switching attention to Twine.

So no, not alot of last cigarettes. Not yet. Only one for now.

Is there a way to make the regalia version not slow down the longer into the game you go? By month 3, it's 5-15 seconds between each click.

The RAGS version actually ends up working more efficiently, except in saving/loading.

Bedlam does not disappoint: "Gem for the Betrothed" (the newly added conclusion to the "Gem for Nothing" chain) lacks the completion switch or whatever is meant to turn it off, and after the first viewing it keeps triggering again and again every day onwards whenever all the participants are available. Free gold, I suppose.

---Fix for A Gem for the Betrothed happening repeatedly after the first time.
I seem to always abandon old versions of savegames for the dumbest, tiniest, silliest things. Then again, "dumbest, silliest thing" sounds like me: only now did I bother to check out what Slaver Distinctions are, and the revelation of a controlled Critical hit hard. I paid literally zero attention to what the mechanic was supposed to be. :HideThePain:

Asking this separately so as not to have it get lost: was Barbarous Bargains nerfed recently? I recall getting crazy amounts of Supplies (for one assignment) on a Crit there at some point - talking 800+, I think there was a fringe 1k+ case once -; got a crit there on 0.990 - paultry 100-150.

I believe a few versions ago it was nerfed, I still remember it as being pretty big though.... from like 1000+ to 500+, so maybe it got hit again?

I hadn't played No Haven in years since I wanted it to finish. I have been playing the .991 public version recently because I figured I'd play the last RAGS version until the Twine version eventually gets somewhere. Had absolutely no clue this mod existed until now but Frank you have got me seriously considering if I should just scrap this run at 11 months in. Amazing work, Frank. This has been a really enjoyable run too, but for some reason Rose never showed up in this run which has bothered me, so it's a tough decision.

Anyway, I haven't used Regalia before. I have the improved RAGS version with the .NET changes which is essential to get the game playable at all, but the system is obviously still jank. How's Regalia compare to that in terms of stability and performance? The OOM issues with saving for RAGS is a real pain in the ass. I have probably put at least 10-20 hours in on this run at least, but who knows how much of has been me fighting RAGS...

jimmyjenkins Just a reminder: last Regalia version is .990 for now, so the .991 changelog is a list of things that are broken. And boy, was the bug I mentioned above annoying...

P.S. I wonder: if Frank releases a "final" fixed version - would Bedlam throw out an emergency "final final" version?

Thank you and I'm happy you enjoy and appreciate it :D

I'm working on it slowly. Free time has been hard to come by lately. It should be out in a little bit, provided nothing goes wrong or bedlam doesn't release that "final final" version:ROFLMAO:

Ah, I see. Hmm. I suppose in that case I'll wait until Frank releases the update.

And speak of the devil lol. No worries at all, thank you! This mod sounds essential just to handle all of the RAGS jank. Is the Regalia version worth waiting for from the other person though? I presume it is but you never know. Knowing my luck that person will respond too before I send this post.

You would have to define "worth" for that. If RAGS runs fine for you - just play that, why bother with Regalia? And if RAGS fails you (like it did for me back in the day) - not like you have much of a choice other than to wait, do you? Given that the only alternative to that is abandoning the game.

I have run into a bug I can't seem to fix. I had an assignment in progress for the Ensnared Rose. Somehow I ended up getting the slavers back from it and the assignment is no longer listed anywhere and obviously because it was never completed the Ensnared rose considers the assignment to still be ongoing. Is there a way to reset this?
