Shadow Word: Porn Right, the City quests I tend to ignore since they almost exclusively deal with slaves, and by that I mean either GIVE one or TAKE one.

Do you remember any other quests like that? I mean, ones that require a slave without trading them away. IIRC there is Barbarous Bargains in the Forest, Word In Your Ear in the Plains...Changing Places in the Mountains, maybe? Not sure about that one since I am not a fan of corrupting those I do not get rid of.
There's tons, including ones in the city. A lot of regular assignments have the "you can send a slave instead of a slaver in the last position" rider. I don't have a list or anything, but there's also the whorehouse in the deep mountains one, the Keldon biomancer rare assignment in the city, I think the weird orc cult one, something on the green? Sorry I'm bad at quest names.

The gloryhole box might be another one. Also, you can try using the "make slave off limits" mechanic so your slavers have to pick the pink haired elf.

Less serious answer - when it is marketable.

IDGAF answer - NH Twine was announced around 2018, NH RAGS stopped getting updates around 2024...around 2030, maybe with all the content that never made it into NH RAGS?

Hey, couldn't find a quick answer skimming the pages, but I did recently manage to rescue four of my slavers from 2 stuck assignments with a bit of save editing in the HTML convert version. It is as janky as you expect given the entire save is just one giant block of text and I was pretty much poking around blindly. Such fun quirks include:
- Sometimes changing stuff will do nothing! Not that surprising, but annoying
- Sometimes changing nothing will do something! Sometimes an edited save will refuse to load, then it will load in with varying success, and then on a second successful load, it seems to stabilize and do whatever self-checks it needs to do. This also makes me think there's some kind of shared cache/variables that get carried somehow, but no idea.
- I can't make *more* new saves anymore? I am able to save over any old save slots, and it seems to work fine, but I haven't yet been able to create a new save slot. I can make new slots in a new game fine, but it will refuse to save even if I try to save to that new, presumably fully functional slot.

Probably some steps of the journey I forgot, but everything seems to load/function properly right now, they can be interacted with, sent on assignments, their stats seem accurate still, and all that good jazz.

If anyone else has a save with stuck slavers, I would appreciate hitting me with the .json so I can tinker around and see exactly if this is repeatable/effective.

But if anyone else wants to try and send it on their own, I'll attach a photo with what I tried to do. If anyone happens to know if an earlier solution was found for this, I'd appreciate a quote to it, or if anyone happens to read "wall of text save" better than I can and recognizes that doing this will blow up your game, I'd also appreciate a heads up.

Is it possible to somehow get a character with both Precarious Power and Orally Accomodating aspects? Both have custom characters for them, but if I go full custom on a normal game - OA is not on the list of selectable Special Aspects, only PP is. Heck, at first I even confused OA with Oral Fixation you can get from corruption. It also does not help that PP has a confusing description mentioning Exhibitionist and OA aspects, but it sounds to me as though PP comes with those two aspects by default or something - needless to say, it does not. So I guess you could rephrase my question to: can you get OA somehow without selecting a pre-configured character with that aspect?

That one sounds familiar. Just to be clear: I have no idea what I am talking about here, but IIRC it has something to do with some browser...cache...storage...thingamajig. Like there is a limited amount of space/memory/whatever browser allows NH to use, and since savegames grow in size as you play you are left with fewer save slots. In the beginning I can make some 10+ saves, but lategame (my longest sessions are 40+ in-game months with full encampments) I have only been able to use max of 3 slots for as long as I can remember.

Is there a way to get rid of orc cum addiction? I got a slave, trained her, made her a slaver - now she has them lust sprees sometimes -, and one night she ended up blowing an orc slaver. Noone to blame but myself, I know - Orcs and Oozes seem to be your worst enemies -, but too late now, spilt milk and all that. She is not at the last stage yet, in case that matters - I think she only got hit once or maaaaaaybe twice.

You seem to still keep up with this thread and you might have not learned a good answer yet, but as long as Orc Cum Addiction has not reached the final cumbrain stage it can be reduced by drinking non-orc cum.


If your Leader has non-addictive cum this can be an easy tool to reduce it by making them suck your dick, but if that's not possible or impractical the camp upgrade gloryhole box mission also provides easy 3 day missions where the slaver just sucks dick and drinks cum. (A Warning for the Box there is a chance the customers will be Orcs so if the slaver/slave is on the last step before it becoming permanent this is a risk)


Every time they drink cum there is a high chance to reduce cum addiction, any mission where the slaver drinks non-orc cum would serve the purpose as well. Reduce it to the minimum stage and then once more and it will be removed.

Had some time and messed with my save files again. Nothing safe I want to share atm but the game is quite interesting indeed, and I hope these quirks are just part of converting it to HTML and not how the original game works.

This is definitely true, just scrolling through the saves you'll find literally thousands of variables that seem to be discarded/not used for anything. I found two blocks of the worst offenders that seemed safe to purge and I cut the save sizes by about a fourth, for example, about 1300 timer variables I think. I didn't have time to test it too much but as far as I could tell, everything seemed to function the same.
This did let me start making save slots again so that's nice, except the problem is even after you purge the trash, once you play and save again, instead of starting at the beginning like you'd hope, it'll just regenerate all the previous trash, which just rebloats it all over again. Deleting all the garbage also really helped my load times as a side effect too so that's nice.

TIL I can stop waiting forever after selecting a mission, because I can disable suggestions since it seems they cannot be trusted, anyway. I thought it was just a limitation when it happened some time ago, when I had something like "Crit 6%, Success 50%" vs "Crit 5%, Success 80%" and it went "pick the first one" - like it was merely simplistic/primitive "pick the one with highest % of best option", but apparently things are even worse. :FacePalm:
