It's a bit of a weird one so far. The way I see it, the main reason right now for two saves is the two job options (even if I really dislike MC when in the Katrina job). The family girls are (currently at least) all available on that save, plus some of the side girls. The only ones that you would genuinely need pathing for at the moment, the way I see it, are Lauren, Lisa, and Emma (and you can have some of those in combination, too). Those three girls haven't been seen in several updates now.

Katrina and Darlene are sort of the same in that you need pathing for them, but that comes with the job path, and there's a potential convergence on both anyway.

I'm sure I saw somewhere that harem, at least "family harem" is planned, but I can't remember if that was reporting the dev's words or just speculation (particularly fuelled by the banner pics).
