Oh Jason, I'm so sorry about that. I really wish for you to be good in your life. Tough decision. But will you come back? Is there any possibility for this?

Okay so crazy theory... how about if its not him the developer and he just a random dude who has the ideea for the game and the real developer who actually made the game and with whom had a deal left for what reason?
Not so crazy. I was in a private internet marketing forum, there was a method shared there with proper resources and business module using freelancers and cheap outsourcing. Even this website was listed there in the module lol

So sad Jason, to hear about your family problems. I pray that it will resove itself or can be resolved without any further undo stress. Life has ways of throwing curveballs at inopportune times, usually for the bad but This time, I'm hoping there's one thrown your way for the good. My thoughts are with you in your time of need. Please, you and your family, be well.

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share some news that I received this past Saturday, which has had a big impact on my life and made me reconsider my priorities. After much thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to pause all activities related to RoyalCandy for the time being.

This wasn’t an easy choice for me, especially considering how much your support has meant in helping me live my dream of becoming a game developer and achieving financial stability. I’m incredibly grateful to you all for making that possible, and it’s tough to step away from something I’ve worked so hard on. But right now, this is the best decision I can make.

While I’ve always aimed to be open and honest with you, I can’t go into details about what’s going on personally. What I can do is pause all billings, so no one will be charged moving forward. It wouldn’t feel right to continue accepting payments without being able to deliver the work you expect, like some others might do in similar situations.

Thank you so much for the past seven years. It’s been an absolute pleasure being part of this community, and I’m deeply grateful for your support. I’m not sure when, or if, I’ll be back, but for now, I have to say goodbye.

Take care,
Jason

That above means what exactly it means, that the game is on PERMANT HOLD, and it MAY NOT come back.

So, yes, this might be the end of RoyalCandy (Jason), and No More Money, and any other games he had in the works

I wish you luck Jason, my dad had a heart attack 3 days ago, so I can relate to sometimes you have to step away, because life is more important.
Damn man, one of the best games I played. I played per season so that last season was crazy. Very sad

Is there a chance that in case of permanent abandonment another game developer could continue this work?
Not without his consent (and his data/content).
Let's hope that his situation improves and that he finds the strength to overcome whatever challenges he's facing. Wishing him and his family a swift recovery, both personally and emotionally.
