What is with all the Shana hate ?, She is my favorite girl in the whole world (don't tell my wife I said that).

Seems a bit more complicated than the average AVN (due to many paths and options taking you there), but really enjoyable.

Heh, someone had to take up the challenge after LaikDink retired, and since a couple of my followers requested it, I figured I might as well be the one.

Very neat code, I'd have to say (a lot better organized than some of the other games I've modded). Not too challenging, but challenging enough. And I did get to see how much the story branches based on choices, making several paths incompatible with eachother (as in, you can't get everything on a single playthrough, no matter how much you try). Kudos, compliments, and salutations to your eye for quality.

Sort of? To get anywhere with Mia, though, you need to not be on Clara's path, as well as have a negative Major Alignment score. She doesn't seem to do steady relationships, though, only casual fling type of stuff.

If you're on Clara's path, you're locking out or making it difficult with (as in: her path will most definitely interfere with these paths):

• Jenn's path
• Paisley's path (in the future)
• Mia's path (as mentioned)
• Alice's path
• Janice's path (Ms. C, the teacher)
• Jasmine's path

Some of these might not might "sharing" you with Clara, but Clara will most definitely mind.

yeah the Clara route definitely feels like more of a committed relationship (if even you can fuck around a bit), so I have a solo save for her.
And then I have one where I get with everyone that I can. I'm sure I missed some routes as there are still conflicts but I don't want to manage 20 saves (again )

...also most girls are good.

This game is monumentally frustrating, it's so close to being good in many different ways, but it's ultimately rather mediocre on the whole.

1) The absolute biggest issue is the ham-fisted crime plot. This is a total shark jump and simply does not fit with the rest of the game or characters. However, what's more important, is the fact that it's utterly insipid and completely uninteresting in any way whatsoever. It's one of the most generic banal things I've seen in a good while. The game would immediately drastically improve if you just remove it while changing nothing else. Another piece of this problem is the stripping of player agency in this, we're just forced along (this is also a problem with the pointless scavenger hunt as well).

2) There are way too many goddamn characters, WAAAAAAAAY too many. This causes things to move at a glacial pace for most characters because the game doesn't really utilize overlapping time slots to the extent that a single LI game ought to, meaning you can only spend time with a LI about once per week because there are so many other characters to waste time with. In a harem game, this isn't necessarily an issue, but in a non-harem game, things are being spread far too thin. To be clear this is not just me complaining about the relative lack of H-scenes, but rather that the game doesn't really respect the player's time. Even if I'm only focused on 1 LI I still have to sit through a lot of other extraneous dialogue with the other LIs which will ultimately lead to absolutely nothing. Not to mention the sausage fest of boring male characters. The only male characters that are even remotely interesting are MC, Henry, Frank, and MC's Dad.

3a) Who are the LIs? Seriously, is every female character a LI? I literally can't even tell if half of the female cast are LIs or not. The number 1 thing that any AVN should do is clearly define who the LIs are. If more are added later that's one thing, but if there's no indication at all, the player is left in limbo. Why have so many of these LIs become camwhores? Or are they not LIs? I have no damn clue!

3b) The writing of the individual LIs is somewhat strange:

- Molly is a bashful, motormouthed, hyper autist, yet she's not a virgin. Why? Did this improve her character? She has all of the downsides of a being a neurotic mess without the innocent upside which she seemed to have had.

- Clara is, to me, by far the most compelling LI currently (alongside Felicity and perhaps Jess, Jenn, and Grace), but for some reason there's this oddly ambiguous dialogue with her suddenly claiming to not be as a innocent as MC thinks and then she says she might've just had a good teacher. I guess this is supposed to refer to Mia, but its just unclear for no reason. If Clara isn't the total virgin that she was presented as, then I will officially have lost all interest in this game.

There's almost certainly more I could say, but I've honestly lost interest in taking the time to type out much else. So I'll leave it at this. The character writing in this game is not actually bad, it's generally pretty good, but the contrived plot(s) detracts from the otherwise decent character driven, slice of life aspect of the game.

I don't know I am starting to get kind of soured on this game with some routes and rhem being blocked off. I just really wanted Clara and Mia together.

I've answered this before but - The 5 "main" ones are - Alice, Clara, Jasmine, Molly, Shana. That does not mean they are the *only* paths - but it does mean comparatively they will get more overall screen time than the rest.

This was stated a few pages back but I want to echo a few others' statements in response and say that it would be awesome if a couple other LI's could be featured a little more prominently than a couple of those. I know the story is already written and this is likely not going to change anything but girls that have early sex scenes and only go for the bad boys like Shana feel overdone to me - no matter how interesting their development (including possible redemption arc into a good girl or just being a sweet heart once you get to know them etc.). Total side character energy.

That said, my real issue is with the whole set up for Jasmine. She's cute and all but just her back story with the controlling, over-protective brother is a hard pass -- and should be for anyone. Nobody should expect the MC to be interested in her or accept her advances if that were to truly be the situation. And later, when you find out that it might not be the case and there is some other scheme at work, it doesn't detract from the fact that all the MC knows is that the brother is a piece of shit and any reasonable person would avoid Jasmine as a result. It is ultimately a huge flaw in their plan and sort of ruins the ultimate believability of the MC and Jasmine ever getting together in the first place.

I've encountered a few people like this in real life (brothers, fathers and exes that seem to stick around) and that mentality is the worst. Those people don't really change or go away. At best it is a 'forget about them for a while until the next incident or blow-up' kind of situation. Sorry to Jasmine or any woman in that situation but men can be hella toxic when given the opportunity and almost nobody ever puts a restraining order on family. Red flag... don't walk, RUN AWAY. Miss me with that bullshit.

I knew one woman who literally moved out of the country to put distance between her and her brother. The brother all but admitted that he wanted to be with her ("no man will ever be good enough for her") but had a moral issue with incest so his attitude was basically 'if I can't have her, nobody should.' Poor woman never had a relationship last 2 months before she moved. Fucking sad.

I know the STORY could be written where the MC wins the brother over or fights him to gain respect or some other scenario where he isn't a constant menace but in REAL LIFE, those people are just rotten and its best to avoid anyone with that sort of baggage.

Hard pass on Jasmine.

That's for Alice, solo. Since you've already gotten the scene - I'll just spoil this now - there are 3 separate paths in the game. One where you're on Alice's path and not Molly's, one where you're on Molly's and not Alice's, and one where you're on both. The one you're missing is Alice - when you're not on Molly's path as well.

This was mentioned and seemed to slip by.... Was this meant to be taken literally? I would guess not but I have to ask. Maybe I am overanalyzing that statement but it seemed more deliberate about game paths than most statements I read that the dev made on the subject.

Are there ONLY those 3 paths in the game? It makes it seem like those two characters are most important among the 5 main LI's then. But aren't there paths away from both of those characters?

Would love some clarification here about story and plot progression since this one has so many LI's - both active and potential.

It's way better and not boring like AOA Academy's crime plot.

Being a player or cheater should have consequences.
Bad girls will like a player while good girls won't.
You can actually be on quite a bit of routes at once.

Not every girl is a pure saint. There are some pure characters and there are some baddies. Follow your preferred route.

I agree with you about Molly. I was surprised that she wasn't a virgin.
I thought being a virgin suited her character better as well.

Still I enjoy noping123's writing.
One of the better VN writers along with DrPinkcake and the STWA writer.
So I'm not opposed to their vision for the game.

Clara does seem like a good girl virgin type.
Not enough information on her. Need to see more to have a valid judgment.
Nothing is contrived, your disappointment mostly stems from wanting more virgin LIs.

In VNs, I usually have the MC fool around with wild girls but ultimately commit to a good woman.

I do like there being a balance of good women and bad girls in VNs.
That ratio is undetermined because deeper character development is still in the process.
Too early to have valid judgments.

You're projecting your real life experiences too much on the brother.
He's protective of his sister because that's the only family he has left.
He is also filled with the spirit of vengeance and isn't in the best headspace.

I personally enjoy many paths.
I always enjoyed choose your own adventure books.
I do prefer being able to follow many routes at once, but with cheating or breaking it off with less favored LIs.

I dislike soulless harem games. I enjoy actually having consequences for the MC's actions.
Being a good guy or hedonist should have the appropriate consequences.
Or the MC could start off as a bad guy but be redeemed.

It's definitely too early to tell where the crime plot is going.
It hasn't developed much thus far.
It's been very much in the background and has been unfolding slowly.

It's not clashing in tone.
The story has always had dark elements, like in the beginning, his fiancé being murdered.
The tone stays consistent following that plot thread.

What do you want? A one-dimensional college shenanigans story.
Being multi-layered doesn't mean that it has an inconsistent tone.
There are many literary works and movies that combine different genres.

Most of the rest of what you said didn't really even address the rest of what I said so I don't see the need to acknowledge it.

yeah it wouldn't hurt, or even a simple in-game guide (doesn't need to be too complicated), just for each character how to get on their path, which other character will be locked out by it, etc. That way the player can puzzle out a minimum number of saves to see most content. As it is I just have two saves, one for Clara romance, on the other I try to get with most others (which is of course impossible, so I take what I can get)
