Yeah no kidding. Four years of making the odd DAZ render did not prepare me. So much time spent posing characters and lighting for a shot that isn't even sexy. Ugh.
There's going to be a bit of story but yeah it's just going to be a nice pleasant ride with lots to see. Going to leave serious drama and crazy plot twists to other devs.
I've spent the last couple of hours or so to check out the renders you shared and also played this game, and I can give my (humble yet honest) opinion that for your first game (and first release), you did a great job and well done for that. The UI and gameplay is simple, player friendly and focused. The renders are amazing which is your greatest strength. There are also musics and sounds in the game, which is good (I don't know if the musical score is great or not because I'm not a good judge on the matter). The story itself if pretty straigh forward, simple and nice pleasant ride
(more on that later).
However, the best part is that you did what many rookie game developer failed to realized, which is NOT to start small or big, but start with what you are most comfortable with (and competence at). Looking at the contents of this first release, it is not small but quite handful, no animations (or sex scenes) because you are not ready yet is also a good choice IMO. Better not put half ass animations that players are not gonna like anyway. Instead, you focused on the renders which are awesome.
All in all, blasting off to a good start indeed. Cheers.
