I'd say it's up to you if you consider it a massive discrepancy or not, but it absolutely is a thing. It's a dead giveaway that the speaker isn't American, would be like using mum for mother where Americans would use mom. The majority of Americans would be confused by someone saying half nine. They would be wondering if that meant 8:30 or 9:30. Or hilariously maybe even 4:30! But yeah definitely not a way of giving time that Americans would use.

They make a joke about it on Ted Lasso.

Yeah the MC's relationship with Alex is an interesting one. You can be the good guy friendly big brother who helps him or be the bad guy who is almost dismissive of him. I liked the fact that Alex got his first girlfriend Taylor, as a good guy MC you can congratulate him, but a bad guy MC doesn't really say anything. My first thought was are we going to get the chance to steal or just fuck his girl? He's actually outdone the MC in getting a girlfriend, Mia was pretty much like "I like you, but I'm not sure I want a relationship just yet" which I was surprised by after their night together.

It's a tale as old as time right? She's the rich girl who is rebelling against her parents and the MC is definitely a part of that, she knows full well that they would never approve of him. From what we see in this latest update she could be a bit of a wild one.

Without wishing to spoil future content, and I don't think this will really, it was actually a bit of a struggle for a while picking which drink was going to be his 'problem' drink. It came down to vodka or tequila if memory serves.

And yeah, Cam and Benji are pretty fun to write because their characters naturally lend themselves to whatever kinda stupid thoughts I might have. I've got a bunch of ideas written down in my planning spreadsheet for future jokes/conversations exclusively for Cam/Benj that I don't know for sure will ever get used, but if I ever think of something in this vein of comedy I write it down and see if it ever works. A few for Sully as well, thinking about it

I know what you mean but honestly I can't say that I wasn't a little disappointed. I could understand it more if they hadn't just had sex, isn't that quite literally "rushing into things"? I mean Mia doesn't seem like the casual hook up type to me from what little we know of her. This doesn't put me off her by any means and I'm looking forward to spending more time with her. But Tegan may have just overtaken Mia to my number one spot this update.

Yeah i already suspect its gonna be way heavier than my life story and im not a orphan either its probably not very unique to have very bad memoryies (or the lack thereof) of tequila either lol

But its not just that, i feel very immersed with the mc's behavior and with his group of friends too while they guys in other avns are usually assholes, dumb or best case just very boring.

And thats the fun thing, the guys like cam and benji usually annoy me slightly in avns, for example the best friend in the most famous college avn ... im just not much of a fan, i merely endure him. But here its just hitting the mark just right for me lol

tbf on this same dialogue she says she wants to meet up another time and get to know each other.

I still have to finish the update but as long as she doesn't just ghost me she is ok in my book and probably a realistic outcome. It would be different if she said this was a one time thing and wasn't interested but that wasn't the case.

I haven't played yet, but saw this spoiler earlier. And I am the exact opposite, it puts a damper on things to me. "Fall in love" you don't have to fall in love, to start a relationship. Seeing this, honestly made this go from instant play today, to maybe, after I catch up with a couple other VN's. Cause to me, it just puts a damper on it for me from the small spoiler I saw, I know I don't have full context, but still, just kind of ruins the mood.

I think you need more context, she leaves the door open for a future date, it's not like she said this was a onetime thing.
That being said like I said earlier I still need to finish the chapter but as long as she doesn't decide to ghost me it's fine by me.
