I know what you mean but honestly I can't say that I wasn't a little disappointed. I could understand it more if they hadn't just had sex, isn't that quite literally "rushing into things"? I mean Mia doesn't seem like the hook up type to me from what little we know of her. This doesn't put me off her by any means and I'm looking forward to spending more time with her. But Tegan may have just overtaken Mia to my number one spot this update.

My perspective on things is this, without spoiling future content or character development. It was a big party after a pledge week, she's just seen him stand up to Chase, they're both a little drunk, she knows (from the showers) there's mutual interest there, they kiss, things naturally progress from there. But (again without wanting to spoil future shit) she's hesitant/wary of committing to anything too soon. Perhaps she knows she likes him, but maybe doesn't want to admit it yet until they know each other better (for more than a few weeks). She doesn't regret it by any means, but is aware that she can be slightly reactionary and live in the moment, according to her emotions. (see the shower scene, for instance, as well as here)

That's my vague point of view of it, without divulging exact reasoning that'd be tantamount to spoilers.

I haven't played yet, but saw this spoiler earlier. And I am the exact opposite, it puts a damper on things to me. "Fall in love" you don't have to fall in love, to start a relationship. Seeing this, honestly made this go from instant play today, to maybe, after I catch up with a couple other VN's. Cause to me, it just puts a damper on it for me from the small spoiler I saw, I know I don't have full context, but still, just kind of ruins the mood.

haha opposite for me as I love it when LI want to take their time and get to know each other before being in a real relationship. I never liked how fast some girls in AVN's get into a relationship with their MC , I prefer it to take time after they get to know each other after being casual friends first. Yeah sometimes it does make sense for how quick it happens but im just more of a fan of the slow and steady get to know each first then put a label on it if you click. Even if you have sex doesn't have to mean anything more than that right away.

Yeah i already suspect its gonna be way heavier than my life story and im not a orphan either its probably not very unique to have very bad memoryies (or the lack thereof) of tequila either lol

But its not just that, i feel very immersed with the mc's behavior and with his group of friends too while they guys in other avns are usually assholes, dumb or best case just very boring.

And thats the fun thing, the guys like cam and benji usually annoy me slightly in avns, for example the best friend in the most famous college avn ... im just not much of a fan, i merely endure him. But here its just hitting the mark just right for me lol

I went with tequila in the end because I used to work in a nightclub as a bartender, and the most fucked up staff nights out we had was when people would get blitzed off of many shots of tequila in particular. It kinda became a running theme every so often that it'd be tequila night. So my overriding memory of it is that it leads to particularly wild nights

This is fair, but I preferred the idea of them being quotes taken from the scenes themselves, without blurred images you could maybe decipher. Maybe in the future I'll add an extra hint, as your point is valid.

If you want a further reason to the Mia hesitancy that is more mechanical, there's a very specific point in the story which is where you'll get to decide to be in a relationship with her that's pretty much integral. It was one of the earliest facets of the game, and so her early character development builds towards that moment. So functionally I couldn't have established the relationship this early, without essentially ruining a critical part. And as I say, her character reasoning should become clear as we go.

I don't want to sound ... arrogant(? not sure if this is exactly the right word, but it's close), but I could point at pretty much everything, particularly in chapter 3, and explain exactly what and why it's significant in the future. This game is quite meticulously planned out that I'm not sure if there's much wasted dialogue (beyond very basic small talk). It's all subtle allusions to each character's path and development. I could run through all of Mia's dialogue post the sex scene, and draw the line to what it's hinting at. Again, without trying to sound whatever, there's going to be a hell of a lot of depth to the game. My hope is that once it's all done, you'll replay different paths and realize that it's all be right in front of you all along. At least I hope, idk. I might just fuck it up, who knows!

And Yeah makes sense about cutting on paths, actually sound really good you know, you get to know the girls, and since you actually are not in a relationship you get to somewhat play the field at least this early, until you get to know them better, but i understand that some girls may not be ok with that like in this case, i actually was thinking it was funny from who was asking you to decide to choose, since she gives a total different vibe, but yeah i think its better that way.

Thank you for playing! It means the world to me, genuinely. I've never been so passionate about something as I am about this game. So naturally, because I care so much, I want to engage, and that care does also lend itself sometimes to disagreements. But I'm comfortable in the fact that this game isn't going to be for everyone, by it's nature. So if it's a difference of opinion, there's no point arguing anything. It is what it is. Mia was the first girl I made for the game, way back in late 2021 when I was practicing with DAZ on my old laptop. It was a generic daz model, with her original hair asset. I then remember coming across a character morph asset (

), seeing the preview image and my brain instantly going 'That's Mia'. A few changes (enhancements?) to the body later, and you've got the first character for the game. I'm so glad she gets a lot of the love.
