I don't even hate the concept of a more grounded story, I just personally don't want to have to sit there and play each path. But ay, power of a gallery unlocker.
So naturally I'm writing the game a specific way (and have an ideal way everyone would play, in theory), and am designing it to be intriguing to do multiple playthroughs, but to me as long as people enjoy the game I don't mind how they play. Unlocker, mod to make all paths available, whatever other options there might be idk. As long as you're enjoying what your playing that's what I care most about.

While i enjoy harems i think non-harem setups make avns way more realistic, immersive and fun.

And lets be honest, relationship development barely happens in harems (the avn is usually over when you added them all and had a few threesomes lol) so its just a entirely different concept.

Harems fit more to fantasy, dystopian or apocalyptic setups not into a college avn and oftentimes makes the women look kinda pathetic

I am fine with this game not being harem or other games too. I hate when people say harems are unrealistic(media as a whole is), or lack of character devlopment, and so forth for harem games, cause it makes them seem ignorant to me.

But I am fine with no harem in this game, I play all types of games. I think my biggest issue though, is two things. First it feels like I will never truly explore the whole game, cause too many routes, and their are other things in life and other games. So its sad to skip possible girls paths.

The other thing is, after the first playthrough, it feels like solo route games become ctrl+skip simulators. Just hold skip till you see like one or two new scenes cause really not much changes half the time it feels like.

Maybe this game will be different, we'll see, I certainly hope so.

Good thing you can replay and get all the paths. I can see how it could get annoying, though if your saves break
That's what is gonna happen to Intertwined {again} the Dev is gonna break all
the saves again......she said there's nothing she can do about it....again!
And that's a game has a ton of content with many paths........

To address your point about not much changing in some games when soloing, I'd like to think that there's going to be value in playing multiple paths here. Both ch2 and ch3 for instance have completely divergent paths (although they still fall under the once you've seen it once you probably would skip through the next time), and I'm trying my best to make choices matter even just by altering dialogue (how a character reacts to you).

Naturally, there's going to be a fair amount of railroading in the game, too. While I would love to give the player complete autonomy, I do have a story I'm trying to tell. So I'm going to force some level of interaction with certain characters, because the MC establishing at least a strong friendship with them if you're not on their path is critical to certain moments in the story.

It is a bit of a balancing act, though, to try and make sure your giving enough freedom to the player while also giving enough information/context/character development no matter what choice they make, if that makes sense, idk

This was on my mind while making ch3, when I realized I'd inevitably run into a situation where saves would break. I could have coded around it for this release, there were ways of making things work with people's old saves, but the writing was on the wall. So I figured get it out of the way now so people have half a chance of catching back up. (and also because it took me another year to get an update out that I figured a lot of people might play from the start again anyway to refresh their memory)

But yeah there's been a couple of games I've played over the years where my saves haven't worked correctly with an update and it's sometimes been an arduous task replaying through just to get to the new stuff. So I got it out the way early here. At least I hope I won't have to do it again

Yeah, I get it and I do think you are doing a pretty good job, haven't played ch.3 yet, will soonish. I think my comment was directed a bit at the people who kept saying harems are pointless or lack character development and so forth and just explaining some issues with solo route games sometimes.

But so far you are doing a greta job, and I know you can't create literally 10 different routes, there does need to be crossover at times to keep work manageable. Some things may be the same. But I am still fully locked in on Mia and possibly a few others. Just keep up the great work, cause I know you are working hard.

I think the main reason for that is that most harem games just throw dozens of girls at you...like man, there is no way any dev can make good, interesting LI's with depth, character growth, relationship devolpment ect for that many girls and a good story of course...honestly, many harem games don't even try, they just throw x girl for x fetish etc.

Yeah, harem games that suck are sucky games, just like non-harem games that suck are sucky games. A harem game can have a good story and so can a non-harem game. I think that the problem with non-harem games are the assumption that you are fine with playing the exact same story over again with just a different girl. That isn't compelling to me. MagicMan753 summed it up pretty well:

That's the problem with solo path games.
Most of the time you hold just skip to see the couple of scenes for the current girl and yes, it isn't that compelling either.
Ideally you would choose a path for a single girl, then at some point the story would split and you would get different story lines for the different girls...but for a solo dev that is nigh impossible to do because of the huge amount of work it would require.

And yeah, harem games can be good too. Mostly those who are focused on a small cast, maybe 4-6 girls, that is a amount devs can actually work with.

How to unlock the last two scenes?
Payback - you need 2 (maybe more) points to get the Lucy nude photo back when you're collecting nudes for the frat. And when you go to the gym and Lucy steps in with the Jock douches, choose flirt option twice.

Spell It Out - At least 3 points with Bobbie before the twins Beer pong game. The tell Jess "You think so?", follow the appropriate choices to get Bobbie's date and when she asks you to stay the night - say yes.

I'm not gonna lie, when making the game I've naturally taken some inspiration from BaD
After seeing your comment, Ava immediately came to mind. Maybe Ava and Joey's relationship from this game gave me the idea, slightly modified of course? I wouldn't be surprised, and others have already mentioned that Joey might be gay. In that case, I would have a guess as to who the other guy is, but I won't say that. In any case, such a possibility would reassure Ava fans...
Regarding Teagen and Mia's breakup, it's also just my own opinion: Early decision. Why? MC has no romantic feelings for either girl, and you confirmed that earlier. So what should the decision be based on, since we barely know the girls outside of sex and a few sentences of conversation. And this applies to all girls. So it's just a decision about who you want to have sex with next, and maybe there will be romance in the relationship later. This is the wrong order, let MC get to know each girl, have the opportunity to get close enough to them to be able to emotionally connect. Then sex and choice, or choice and then sex.
And if I was talking about romance, of course I give a big plus point for this scene. (spoiler) I hope every girl gets such an opportunity, because I saw something in this picture that I wanted to talk about...
