VN Ren'Py Not Going Back [Ch.3.1] [Cicada]

For anyone like me who likes to keep track of their scores with all the girls, I've knocked up a quick Stats Mod that is accessible via the Quick Menu.



This mod does not replace any files so is fully compatible with existing saves. It is also 100% compatible with Murray's Walkthrough mod.

After seeing your comment, Ava immediately came to mind. Maybe Ava and Joey's relationship from this game gave me the idea, slightly modified of course? I wouldn't be surprised, and others have already mentioned that Joey might be gay. In that case, I would have a guess as to who the other guy is, but I won't say that. In any case, such a possibility would reassure Ava fans...
Regarding Teagen and Mia's breakup, it's also just my own opinion: Early decision. Why? MC has no romantic feelings for either girl, and you confirmed that earlier. So what should the decision be based on, since we barely know the girls outside of sex and a few sentences of conversation. And this applies to all girls. So it's just a decision about who you want to have sex with next, and maybe there will be romance in the relationship later. This is the wrong order, let MC get to know each girl, have the opportunity to get close enough to them to be able to emotionally connect. Then sex and choice, or choice and then sex.
And if I was talking about romance, of course I give a big plus point for this scene. (spoiler) I hope every girl gets such an opportunity, because I saw something in this picture that I wanted to talk about...

Thanks for the comment. I remember saying back sometime maybe just after the ch2 release that the Imogen scene (if you're pursuing Imogen) was my personal favorite at that point. It might still be.

On the Tegan/Mia decision: without wanting to spoil future story events/character development, there's a reason why Tegan somewhat forces the choice on you so early, and it's intrinsically linked to her as a character/personality. So yes, it does feel a bit early for her to essentially ask you to pick, right?

Thank you for your thoughts, I always enjoy reading people's thoughts on the characters. It helps me gauge the extent to which I'm succeeding in what I'm trying to do. And also to see who's generally popular etc. (this is a rare instance of jess fan! someone else probably has mentioned liking her before but it's not often compared to some other side girls)

I'm glad you thought the contests and parties were fun. They're the bits of the game I always have the most doubts over during development. Mostly whether they feel enough like big social gatherings. So whenever people say they enjoy them I appreciate it, especially seeing as they're a pretty major part of writing a college-themed vn.

Really is a beautiful and interesting game but the Li are not interesting at all sadly. I never like slutty girls and avoided em as the plague at University but here it feels like there all a bunch of dick jumping girls apart from Alice but sofar haven't seen to much of her yet. anyway the game is beautiful and am curious to see what the story brings even have rejected every li sofar.

Hello!

Normally on either Saturdays or Sundays I'll be posting weekly dev logs to update you on the progress of the next update.

However, as we're coming off of a release, there's really not a lot to say in a dev log. At the start of a new update cycle I prioritize planning/writing, so I've not got a whole to update you on so far. I've done some rendering for ch4, but nothing particularly new that'd be interesting to preview as I'm working basically from where ch3 ended off.

So, instead I thought it might be more interesting to do a Q&A instead. Ever been curious about the development process of an AVN? Want to know more about me specifically? Or any other question you might have that you'd be interested in knowing more about. I'm not going to guarantee an answer, but don't hesitate to ask if there's something you'd like to know!

This is going up as a free post so that more people will be able to ask questions if they want, as will the answers post, but as a reminder the general dev logs that'll be starting next week are tied to paid tiers.

Depending on how many questions I get I'll either post on Saturday or Sunday. I'm not anticipating a ton of questions, but I figured even if people have only got a couple it'd probably still be more interesting than a dev log, which, as above, is surmised as simply as 'doing a lot of writing'.

Well, when I saw this guy, I immediately felt that something was not right with his story with so many girls. Although I am not an expert on "gay" relationships, I know that gay guys are very good and easy to make friends with girls. So what they say about him during his introduction is that he is very good at making friends with girls, but they never say that he has sex with them. And such a "talent" is a great disguise to distract from his true sexual identity. Sorry if I overexplained, but in short, my answer to your question is: If Joey is really gay, then this guy is my absolute first candidate for your question.

Ava herself says "It's complicated" about their relationship and why she spends so much time with Joey. I don't believe that this VN would give the MC sloppy seconds by having a main LI like Ava be in a sexual relationship with someone else right under his nose.
I also believe that Joey is gay and she is helping him, as she's most likely the only one who knows the truth and that he can confide in.
I look forward to spending more time with Ava and I believe that the MC will soon also find out the secret, which will cause the MC and Ava to spend more time together.

sounds like it doesn't take much for you to consider them a slut haha from what I recall they are pretty tame and mild in how open and free spirted their are compared to other games
