The scenes and dialogues are too short, I was barely registering what was going on. I even totally forgot Rachael and didn't understand who she was when she reappeared later in the Chapter (or was it early Ch. 2?

), she just blurred together with Alice into a single character in my mind.
I'm surprised that Rachael and Alice could be blurred into a single character. Even in chapter 1, Rachael was already the one who'd flash her boobs while Alice was the one trying to avoid sex topic as much as possible. They are very opposite from one another IMO.
Forgetting who Rachael was is completely understandable though because this game has a lot of characters and their appearance is based on the plot events (ex: there's a party so only the characters attending the party would appear) rather than based on character (ex: in many other games, let's say there's a cheerleader LI, then MC showed up to watch cheerleader practice just to develop their relationship) so not every girl will show up every time and it's easy to forget who's who especially because all the girls so far in the game are all fellow students (compare to most games who'd include the teachers, librarian, random cafe owner or something). To me, this happened to Ellie and Molly when I had to try to remember who they are. But I actually really like it because I don't feel the need to know/like every girl and I think it's quite natural that if I'm just introduced to around 20 people, I'd forget some of them. So if I forgot someone here, it's because I don't initially feel attracted/attached to them among the abundance of girls in this game. If I changed my mind and ended up liking them later on, I'm happy to re-learn who they were originally in the game. This happened to Molly as now I'm quite interested to see what might happen with her in the future updates. I'm still lukewarm on Ellie and she stays as "Lucy's friend" for now.
MC very rarely gives us any reflection on what happens to him, be it in his thoughts or talking with his friends, further decreasing the events' weight and not helping immerse into him.
To be fair, there really isn't much to reflect on in chapter 1 because it's mostly introduction to many characters and the very beginning of the fraternity plot. As the game progresses to chapter 2 onward, there are more events happening and MC became closer to his friends. This then naturally leads to more opportunities to reflect as needed.
Not saying you're wrong to think that way, but just giving another player's perspective of the same game.
