Oh I missed this post earlier, yeah, any rejection scene I find a little tough to write, as much as I talk about being really excited for the future of the game, there are some conversations I'm not looking forward to writing. But those choices are there there to keep it realistic, some people might lose interest with Ava after learning the information the prelude (keeping it vague to not spoil for others), so I'm giving them the immediate out if they want to take it. But it's one of the harsher no scenes that'll be in the game, for sure. Wasn't too fun to write (also because you've got to try and balance character's behaviour and what they say correctly to still make it feel genuine - so alongside not being fun, it's kinda difficult too! all that effort just in service of making your characters feel sad...)I playing some more before I do some PC stuff I need to fix later

I'm surprised that Rachael and Alice could be blurred into a single character. Even in chapter 1, Rachael was already the one who'd flash her boobs while Alice was the one trying to avoid sex topic as much as possible. They are very opposite from one another IMO.The scenes and dialogues are too short, I was barely registering what was going on. I even totally forgot Rachael and didn't understand who she was when she reappeared later in the Chapter (or was it early Ch. 2?
To be fair, there really isn't much to reflect on in chapter 1 because it's mostly introduction to many characters and the very beginning of the fraternity plot. As the game progresses to chapter 2 onward, there are more events happening and MC became closer to his friends. This then naturally leads to more opportunities to reflect as needed.
That was mostly because of their models and circumstances: they look fairly alike, like sisters, live together, the MC shares no classes with Rachael and Alice barely does anything on Geography, and both are mostly uninvolved in the frat side of things.

I've never gone to college, but NGB feels more like I imagine it would be IRL and natural. One of my daughters does and stuff she tells me fits. Girls (and guys) stay in their lanes and live their own lives. Not all girls are at the same party, some you meet in the library, gym, cheerleader practice, the pool, etc. Even in my #1 fav game, suddenly the 5 MG are all best friends and doing stuff together. Here, if you want to hang with Alice go to the library. If you want to hang with Tegan, go to her sorority house. There's no teacher hanging out with groups. It just seems more like I imagine it would be.

Yea for me it wouldn't, unless that was something that the MC also struggled with in the past as well, so for that reason I would perhaps view her as a possible bad influence. If it's pretty recreational and occasional tho, given the setting, I wouldn't find it to b an issue; I'd b more surprised at who wasn't ripping the occasional line. But then again, given the setting, idk if it'd even be something worth mentioning if it was only an occasional thing
