Why is everything with this woman so... extreme?

Anyway, I'd politely suggest drilling down maybe some more on player choice, so when we actually see what she's interested in *in detail" we can either modify that or back out. I doubt just because somebody' is a "sub" they'd all like something like this. Then again, I'm hardly some BDSM expert. And the more I see of it in video games, the less I wanna know about it, lol.

Things get a bit weird with the chess girl who wants to be a sub as well, so I'd offer up the same suggestion.

But hey, that may be more work that you're just not interested in investing in, and that's a completely valid thing.

Just offering up some feedback, two cents, yada yada.

I enjoy a lot of the psychological aspects of the game. I also get where the MC guy is coming from. During some of his inner monologues, I'd like to see more choice to look at things a little less. puritanical I suppose.

All in all an interesting premise, and I think it's a breath of fresh air in a genre dominated by VN's with college kids sneaking around the house over and over and over again.

It was Emma's idea to bring Kim in to the "Monica situation", and there was a player choice to leave the task of contacting Kim up to Emma. Sure, he didn't actively discourage it, but perhaps he respects her ability to advise enough to overcome his distaste (if he is on a"not involved with Kim" path).

Outside of that, as previously discussed by MrSilverLust, I guess the reality of linear time constrains the number of variations that can be developed. As Kim is still a potential partner for some routes, she can't be entirely excluded from the core story.

Yeah, I understand the latter part: There's only so much you can do to allow variations when trying to tell a coherent story with an established cast of characters. As for the former, it doesn't really wash for me: The MC knows that Kim absolutely cannot be trusted and will seek to hurt people on a whim; he may not want to expose Kim to her boyfriend because of her threats to expose him in turn, but he could at the very least hint to Emma that she's not ideally suited for this.

But as I said, of course there's a limit to the branching one can reasonably allow. Occasionally that leads to slightly hinky story beats on some paths, but that's practically unavoidable for a one-person dev team trying to craft an ambitious story within a reasonable time frame.

Anyway, the plan is to upgrade from my old laptop with a 1060ti GPU to something better sometime on the first trimester of next year, thanks to supporters on Patreon and Itch. They are the real MVPs. And then slowly add animations to all lewd scenes present in the game, without increasing development time over more than 4 months. When the game is finished, I don't want a single lewd scene without animations, and I'll even add more content to some of them. But a thing at a time.


Other pair of interesting comments next to each other:

There are other paths in the game, with other girls, that have softer forms of femdom. For example, with Lea there is softer femdom-ish content if you are into that. I was slightly annoyed that in the similar menu in chapter 4, the only alternative to being in love with one of the girls is for the MC to believe himself incapable of love. (Don't have the game to hand, don't remember the exact phrasing.)

Rather than, say, "some of these girls seem pretty nice but we've only just started exploring things so let's hold off on the love-talk for a moment", or even "these girls are nice enough, but there isn't one that appeals specifically to me and that's cool."

I choose to believe it's just the MC's delusions or trauma or whatever speaking, but it still seemed an odd leap. I still haven't seen a great in-game explanation for why he's so clueless when it comes to relationships and sex.

Funny, I was just thinking about mentioning the weird tone of the angry purple text too. I'm running through this game totally celibate because none of the girls appeal to me - it happens (more than you would think) and honestly, rejecting everybody you don't like is very satisfying. So for MCs inner voice to start berating him like this is... uttery bizarre. He made a mistake in the past, doesn't repeat the mistake now and doesn't play around with other people's emotions. And he's a bad guy now??? Probably would have been better to make two versions, one for an MC who fools around but doesn't commit, one for an MC who stays far away from all the crazies lovely ladies, but I understand that this would lead to far too much work. It just makes for a big disconnect with what is on screen and how I motivate MC's actions...

Going to have to agree with Porthas here in the hopes you consider adding some softer options for Deb in the future. The first couple scenes were great but it escalates from foot worship (quite vanilla) to her basically telling you to swear off conventional orgasms altogether (quite heavy) in the space of 1 lewd scene.

I mean it even makes narrative sense that MC who is in the process of exploring being a sub for the first time would come across some stuff he doesn't like. There is also the context of the lewd scenes where many begin with MC's intention to basically comfort Deb he goes along with it. For Deb it also makes sense she might be in a darker mindset due to prolonged relationship issues and excessive sexual frustration maybe she goes overboard with MC a bit. She's been shown to be quite considerate and is "kind to those she cares about" so certainly they could sit down and have a conversation about what they are both enjoying and how to best proceed so both sides are satisfied if things become a bit more regular and official for them at some point.

I know you've said there are other chars with lighter options but consider that a LOT of players like Deb specifically which is a testament to the writing and character development given to her. So please consider throwing a bone to the Deb fans who while they enjoy some femdom can't exactly become a transcendent level sub abandoning all personal satisfaction.

It is indeed more work but plenty of lewd scenes already have 2 variations based on kinks so its not really a big departure from the norm thus far if a scene has lighter or more extreme femdom as the options. I would personally be deeply regretful to have to abandon this Deb path due to dev time constraints on relatively minor scene variations (which again, make perfect narrative sense for both chars already).

There is no content with that yet, although Jen's "femdom" path will have it where she and the MC can both submit to a domme, or she can have sex with dominant men, or both (player chooses). In her maledom path, she's happy to submit to dominant MC and there is none of those options.

Maybe I'm weird, but so far I don't think that there was any hard femdom in the game. There was one thing I wouldn't do IRL, but I'd say it's all soft to medium on femdom scale for me.

Regarding chastity cage since we have options to not bring it up in a first place and to take it off later, I kinda assumed that - similarly to asking/not asking about feet (smelling) earlier - this choices (and possibly others in the future) lead to 2 paths: one where MC forsakes his orgasms alltogether (gradually) and one where MC does have orgasms (but only when Deb decides he can). I don't know why but I also get the feeling that if he'd really want to she'd allow MC to have normal orgasms from time to time too. I mean she accepted a lot of non-femdom stuff while being with Carl so such much, much smaller compromise seems not out of the question if she'd really fall in love with MC.

The femdom is still light, but the buildup and the conversations between MC and the dommes make it fun and somewhat realistic. Extreme femdom games that jump right into fucking the MC up both physically and mentally are still fun, but the slow natural build of the fem/sub relationship is always more fun.

Damn. The writing in this game is just so top notch. It really helps that some of the random things that are talked about by the MC are things that I believe in my own personal life. It's clear that Mr. Silver Lust has a good head on their shoulder and is a very reasonable person. So much extremism on the internet these days and it's nice to have someone point it out casually even if it's in a fictional story. Keep up the great work and I look forward to future updates.

I haven't played chess since I was a child, but I'm really loving the chess scenes. Maybe since it's pretty unique for a porn game to have such detailed descriptions of the matches. But also, the writing does such a good job of explaining the action. It feels like I'm watching a sports/eSports game with great casting.
