If this is still relevant:

Theres only two main problems here:

0024:err:vulkan:wine_vk_init Failed to load libvulkan.so.1.

and

Vulkan Fix: Check if Vulkan is installed and configured correctly on your Linux system. Depending on your distribution, you may need to install/reinstall Vulkan drivers or libraries. This might involve packages like vulkan-utils or similar, depending on your package manager.

Permissions Problems: Try running Wine with elevated permissions using sudo to see if it helps with the access issue.

sudo wine your_game_executable.exe

If nothing helps, sorry I'm clueless otherwise.

Please never do this. You are basically allowing full access to potential viruses. Read access error is harmless and appears always even for perfectly working titles.

She says that because she can't believe the mess she found herself in. You get a yes or no choice because trying "no" gets you a bonus health potion. It's been a while, but i think you get options quite early on, once you get to know the place and the people more.

This first two minutes you played shows the setting, the tone, the character personalities, game mechanics and a little bit of porn. You are free to think what you want about it, but it is a better start that 99% of the games here.

saying its a better start than 99% of everything on this website is not saying much, but youre not wrong. And if its an rpg with dialogue choices that dont even matter, im sorry but thats ass. Dont put the choice in there if the reward is a potion youre going to end up using immediately anyways. It takes two seconds of programing some dialogue next to a tree to have her sleep outside but hey, to each their own i guess.

Game keeps telling me "Failed to initialize DirectX Audio." and force quits after hitting the OK button. Already reinstalled DirectX to no avail and I have RPGmaker RTP. Can someone help?

My game runs extremely slow when entering fights, like not even 1 frame per second. Any reason why that could be or how to fix it?

EDIT: Ok so for anyone in 2024 - Using Windows 7 Compatibility mode fixed the lag completely.

There is a fairly serious gamebreaking bug. I dont know what i did wrong since i was following a guide almost perfectly. But i never had to meet with leblancs agent, which mean I never was given access to the watery caverns. Looking through the forum history quite a few others seem to have encountered this error. I am essentially at a point in the game where I cant proceed any further because I cant gather the third root necessary to pacify the ghouls in the cave near the entrance to town.

Edit: To anyone else having this issue, when you think you need to see him, just go to the well at night. I never had to interact with him before but hes there now. I dont know if it was my error or the game but i dont care i can now continue.

It's been years so my memory is hazy. The captain's house is the one to the south of the prison, i think. Did Katarina met her biggest fan yet?
