NTR or NTS?

I like the gambling loved ones premise (if you're kinda forced to do it) and NTR. Just not sure on the chat/phone game format. Usually that's just a way to cheap out on the number of renders by showing straight up chat text instead of the more cinematic/visual novel approach of showing the characters talking to each other. I've yet to enjoy a chat/phone message game, so far their picture to text ratio is simply under the minimum that works for me - and I don't think typed text makes for anywhere as good characterization as seeing the characters talking to each other and also visually expressing their emotions. An example of the opposite, a game with a very high picture to text ratio where the character's visible emotions do a lot of show don't tell heavy lifting would be My Husband's Boss.

If you haven't played yet, the game is available right now. Please keep in mind it's the initial version so don't except a lot of content.
