I have a 1080 ti and been playing Stellar Blade on very high graphics, which runs much better and quieter than this game....It's a shame how much UE5 has lowered the skill requirement for developers allowing them to throw out unoptimized shit like this
I will agree with you wholeheartedly on this one. Even after nvidia decide to curbstomp support, this card still beats out most modern video cards simply due to one factor that is the amount of VRAM it provided. It was a large leap and still can push out well due to that capacity. Everything else on the 8GB tier is trash compared to this card because of it.

Also, most developers use DLSS, and fake frame generator trash just to get acceptable frame rate on games, is using it as a crutch instead of doing proper optimization. The goal of those features was suppose to help older cards get a bit of uplift by downscaling the resolution and "AI" generating them back to native, not for newer cards to use them with anemic hardware specs. Raster performance should have doubled or tripled for lower end cards in 2025 not stagnate.

I dont know about you guys but it whas giving me 600 fps with gpu at 99% i set the max fps to 60 in general in nvidea settings and its running fine now...
this guy is correct. i just set my fps limit to 60 and enabled vsync running the game at low graphic settings 1280.. game runs normally now and my gpu is soo chill suddenly!

just remember after editing GameUserSettings, put it in read only mode!

There's gotta be some real fucky shit going on cause despite all the performance complaints this game's current release and demo runs fine for me

Doesn't seem fair to compare a game that just came out with one that had almost an year of polishing and updates. If Miside was already an optimized masterpiece from day one then their developers are truly talented. It is unfortunate this game's developers are up to those standards.
Nah, I doubt that even if you give the dev of this game a year or a decade it'll be the same as the Seed of the Dead Sweet Home. I rather play and finish that unoptimized trash than this, at least that game has a real gameplay even though most of the time its laggy as fuck. I've seen so many games like this, its pattern recognition at this point.

They should've asked Gaben if they could use their game engine(even if it's the old source engine), it's 100x better than this Unreal 5, it doesn't make your GPU imitate the sound and heat of a microwave.

Im running a laptop with 1650, 8gb ram and 4k at full screen, im getting 60 fps normally with some occational spikes that bring me down to 30, istg these guys might be playing with integrated graphics

People is complaining about the performance of this game but I was able to run it on my ancient 2 Gb Vram integrated AMD Radeon, so I don't know. Surely, it doesn't run smooth but it goes at decent 30 fps so it puzzles me watching people with top gear complaining

The Monster Hunter Wilds of porn games, both in terms of performance and bugs lmao

Guess i'll be skipping this one, shame cause i was looking forward to it.

If you want to limit the game's FPS, you need to edit the file:

%localappdata%\NTR_IDOL\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini

Find the line:
FrameRateLimit=0.000000

and change it to something like:
FrameRateLimit=60.000000
or
FrameRateLimit=120.000000

(or any value you prefer).

This helps keep your GPU from running too hot and stops the fans from going crazy.

I am so sick of entitled babies complaining that not every game is perfectly optimized for their exact hardware setup out of the box, and they might need to do some *gasp* troubleshooting to smooth it out. Every fucking game release nowadays, I see this same shit. There are way too many possible hardware configurations and settings for devs to test and optimize for them all. Some games will run fine, some won't. For the ones that won't, you might have to go into the options and change a few things, a concept which apparently horrifies the average gamer nowadays. For a few, you might have to even go into an ini and edit some values, oh the humanity! Dear god, you might even need to google common issues for the game so you can get some help figuring out what exactly you might need to change to fix it!

There are literally billions of possible hardware and software combinations people can be running nowadays. It is completely impossible to test and optimize for all of them. Unless the game is extremely simple and small, it's not gonna run great on all of them. Especially on a newer bloated engine like unreal 5.

Jesus Christ, how is average computer literacy actually getting worse? Are people so used to cellphones and everything on them being optimized for that exact architecture that they can no longer comprehend the need for basic pc tech support skills?

Optimization for AMD is different thn Nvedia, I am assuming most facing performance issues are Nvedia users..regardless, its a shame that UE projects are usually an unoptimized mess.

Wasn't usually Nvidia the golden child? But yeah, I do actually wonder why devs are moving that hard onto UE. This game could have been done on Unity way easier and with an even better outcome. Unless suddenly UE5 uses pseudocode or something that makes it a child's play, it usually have lots of memory leaks and some other stuff like the uncapped FPS mentioned above

I mainly blame the UE5 thn anything else, but regardless..Optimization is expected considering people paid for it so i feel the way you mentioned your point, is a bit too harsh...I agree to what you said logically, but this application is based on whether its an indie dev or AAA, hence for this dev..It's acceptable and I am certain the performance issues will be resolved through patches etc, but this is completely unacceptable for AAA developers.

And yes, a lot of the people specially playing NSFW games, dont have the PC skills and its fine,but most simply dont have the patience...and thats to me more concerning thn anything else cause most here are pirates lol

again, just because a graphic card company on average is technically more powerful doesn't mean it can run the applications more smoothly, optimization is required nonetheless, and about Unity, if i recall they made a douchebag move some time ago and thats why Dev's lost their trust on the company.

As someone who has a potato pc and reading these comments. I'm sad to say I'll have to avoid this even tho I do like the premise.

Someday I hope NSFW devs would think about optimization more often than not.

If you can spare 3gb more or less, i would say try it...if you got AMD, it might run well....

otherwise once the game receives some performance patches, go for it.
