a tip from my successful run: quantity > quality. the more guys you sent and the less cats and old ladies you hit, the faster you run (means you can reach to your new targets and gas cans faster, but also riskier to avoid non-targets). try to maintain your red bar (your multiplier bar) at max as long as possible, as your score and picture refill rate will be faster. also a little bit of RNG too if your run has fewer cats and ladies than usual. When you reach the point where there are only gold guys and nothing else on the road for a while you know you reach the end and the bonus stage.
