Well thats definitely something new. I am liking the novel premise, but hopefully the dev sticks around long enough, these types of games tend to die so early.

There's no way the son is a real person. Doesnt make sense at all, he seems like a complete loser. Losing v card & Angry to his mom bcs she's trying to speak common sense?

Why do you feel the need to do that? Your software is written by AI, your drugs, your protein folding research. Everything is infected, completely or partly by AI, why should art or words or renpy script be any different? Get off your high horse matey.

Art is human expression, AI art is derivative, it simply derives its "creations" based on others work. things like programming scripts and research are functional applications, those are not the same as creative ones.
So many people have great ideas but lack the skills to bring them to life. I'd rather a world where creativity is admired over technical prowess.
Sadly, I don't think you'll convince others. AI is just a tool, and like any tool, you need skill to use it, you can get both horrendous and good enough results with it depending on how you use it. I can understand some people valuing originality, but dismissing a tool outright is just irrational.
I agree that there's a point in there, everything in AI is derivative whether it's code or art.
Anyway this is a very messy and delicate topic and i don't really wanna debate and hurt another person again XD.
The code created by AI is arguably 'stolen' software code as well. You might say well it's just a bunch of bytes, but art can also be represented as a bunch of bytes, just that the overall space is a lot bigger and allows for more human touch.
I think it will sadly permeate into everything. Even if not generative AI, AI has been with us. The color tools we use to blend, edge finding lasso tool, select tools, etc in photoshop.

About the other 'debate': I agree games with actual art are much hotter than games with AI art, just having actual art gives them personality and a style on its own which does wonders.

Does anyone have recommendations for NTR games in relation to mothers? Also more NTR games like NTR Office?
Anyone feel their standards go down over time either art-wise or story-wise during a drought of good games? Like early on I would turn my nose up at Soraue's art or Atelier Sakura's stories but as time passes without a big name release I would finally try them. Maybe if we go long enough without anything good I would be forced to go dumpster diving in the AI generated section.
I would argue that my standards went up. I used to be happy with trashy games, now I must have elite story/perfect cgs/games that cater to my fetish
